Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio February 2020 Background Stamp Release Blog Hop! PFS’s talented design team members & guest designers will be showing an amazing range of projects and ideas using brand new FABULOUS background stamps!! I’m so excited to be a part of this amazing hop! Hope that you take the time to check out all beautiful creations!
For my first card, I’m featuring the Lemon Lush background stamp along with other PFS products.
I stamped the Lemon Lush background on watercolour paper using VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink. I then coloured the stamped panel with several liquid watercolors:
(Lemons) Sunshine, Clementine
(Flowers) Clementine, Candy apple, Lavender
(Leaves) Key lime mixed with Espresso, Emerald City.
The grey background, I used Pumice Stone Distress ink.
For a cute paper bow, I die cut each piece of the pattern from lemon yellow cardstock using the Flower Bouquet and a Bow die set. I then assembled it using double-sided tape.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “wonderful” from lemon yellow & glitter gold cardstock using the Phrase Builder: You die set first, and then adhered them diagonally onto the watercoloured panel.
For my second card, I’m featuring the Enchanted Blooms background stamp along with the Essentials: Classic Words die set.
I stamped the Enchanted Blooms background onto watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink first, and then watercoloured the stamped panel with Tonic Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens.
For the sentiment, I used the words “Hello Beautiful” from the Essentials: Classic Words die set.

Your second card using the blossom background stamp with the hello beautiful sentiment is so colorful and beautiful. As soon as I saw it I smiled.
I think your coloring is awesome – especially your color choices! And I absolutely love how you raised the sentiment on your first card so the “shadow” is a space below and offset from the top cutout! Such a cool idea! Thank you for sharing your time and talents!
