SSS Wednesday Challenge: Halloween

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
(This is my second post of the day, for the PPP October Release Blog Hop, click HERE.)
This week the challenge is “Halloween.” Honestly, and personally, I don’t like to make Halloween card but today’s MFT Halloween dragons are so cute! :D
I started by making “Halloween” background with several dark coloured Distress inks. I blended on a 4.25″ x 5.5″ watercolour paper panel with Fired Brick, Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans and Walnut Stain Distress inks. I then added water drops all over the inked panel. Next, I die cut the word “HALLOWEEN” from white card stock five times using the MFT Stitched Alphabet Die-Namics, stacked each alpha up using fine tip glue pen – made them thicker like chipboard.
I stamped adorable dragons & fires from the MFT Magical Dragons set on watercolour paper using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, coloured them with the Altenew Artist Markers, and then die cut them with the MFT Magical Dragons Die-Namics.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Week 5

Hello crafty friends!
I’m back again with a clean & simple birthday card with the Make a Wish set – it’s one of my favourites among the MFT stamp sets.

Here is my take on the Sketch 400:
As soon as I saw the sketch 400, I thought immediately of the birthday candles so I decided that I turned the sketch upside-down. I stamped the candles from the Make a Wish set on white card stock using MFT hybrid inks, and then die cut them with the Make a Wish Die-namics. I stamped the birthday sentiment on top-folded white card base in pigment black. I adhered all birthday candles on the bottom of the card front using foam tape.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Week 3

Hello crafty friends!
I’m back again with another floral card with the MFT August release products: Rolled Rose and Grand Greenery Die-namics.

Here is my take on the Sketch 398:
MFT constantly provides so many beautiful 3D flowers and the August Rolled Rose is, without a doubt, a gorgeous as well as the old ones. I die cut the Rolled Rose from various shades of pink papers, and die cut the Grand Greenery from earth tones paper as well. I rolled & made flowers, and then adhered them with leaves on Primitive White card base using foam tape. I added stamens inside the rolled roses. For the sentiment, I used the Fluttering Friends stamp set.

MFT & Friends

Hello crafty friends!
I’m back again with another watercoloured poppies card for the MFT & Friends series.

I created messy watercolour card with two of my favourites among the August release: Painted Poppies stamp set and Puzzle Cover-Up Die-namics.
I started by stamping poppies from the Painted Poppies set on bottom half of watercolour paper panel using Vintage Photo Distress ink. I then very loosely coloured the stamped images with watercolours. I didn’t worry too much about the stamped lines :)Once the panel was completely dry, I die cut the panel using the Puzzle Cover-Up Die-namics, and then adhered all the pieces to kraft card base using double-sided tape. For the sentiment, I used the Fluttering Friends stamp set.
