Tonic Studios Wonderful Wishes Release Online Party

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
I’m so happy to be a part of the Tonic Studios Wonderful Wishes Release Online Party! Christmas project is definitely my most favourite!!
For my cards today, I’m featuring super-duper adorable Jolly Marshmallow Snowman Stamp Set. When I saw this set, I felt warm and cozy – it was like sitting on a rocking chair near the fireplace. :D
I started by stamping warm cocoa mugs, marshmallow, lots of Christmas lollies from the Jolly Marshmallow Snowman set on watercolour paper panel using Memento Rich Cocoa dye ink.
I then coloured all stamped images with polychromos colored pencils. I stamped marshmallows on a separate watercolour paper in dark brown, coloured them with polychromos colored pencils as well, and then fussy cut them out.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed it in white onto red card stock, trimmed it down as a small banner. I mounted the panel on kraft card base using double-sided tape, then added opaque white ink splatters, red & white bakers twine, clear snowflake sequins and white dots!! :D

SSS STAMPtember® Sunflower Hugs

Happy Monday, crafty friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I have a couple of watercoloured floral “Hugs” cards using the Sunflower Stem Die along with other SSS products.
I die cut the Sunflower Stem from watercolour paper first, and then coloured it with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens:
Petals: Mango Mimosa / Cinnamon Stick
The dark centre: (light to dark) Cinnamon Stick / Yellow Ochre / Caramel Pecan
leaves: Sliced Kiwi / Indigo Batik
And, I die cut another sunflower from white card stock, then glued the outline die cut over the watercoloured base image using fine tip glue pen.For the shaker panel, I cut out the centre of 4.25″ x 5.5″ white rectangle panel using the double-stitched rounded rectangle panel die in the Shimmer Rounded Rectangle die set. I then adhered vellum paper behind the panel, added Autumn Leaves Sequins.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “hugs” from white card stock, shadow from Green Leaf card stock using the Healing Hugs die set, then glued them together using fine tip glue pen.

Here is another card with the Sunflower Stem die.
For the autumn coloured clouds background, I inked some clouds on Wonky Rectangle watercolour panel with some Distress inks using the Clouds For Days stencil. I used (from the top) Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass and Gathered Twigs Distress inks.
I mounted the clouds background panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the watercoloured sunflower & sentiment banner using foam tape.

Tonic Studios Garden Party Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
I’m so excited and honoured to be a part of the Tonic Studios Garden Party Release Blog Hop! It is a very first monthly stamp set release of Tonic Studios and all their new sets are truly amazing – especially flowers!! If you arrived here from Bibi Cameron’s blog you are on the right track!

For my cards today, I am focusing on the Peony Bloom Stamp Set. It is my most favourite set among entire release products. :D
For my first card, I made no-line watercolour peony card with some Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens.

I stamped peonies and leaves from the Peony Bloom set on watercolour paper using light coloured dye ink, and then coloured them with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens & water brush. I coloured a part of each petal with aqua flow pen first, and then fill the empty space using water brush. These watercolour pens are really fantastic!! The colours are so vibrant and they blend well with water. I love it so much!!
(Petals) Flamingo Pink & Apple Red / Wild Phlox & French Wine
(Leaves & bough) Sliced Kiwi, Aqua Splash, Indigo Batik, Caramel Pecan
Once the watercoloured images were dry, I fussy cut them out, and then adhered them on the card front using foam tape.
For the sentiment, I used the Botanical Burst Stamp Set – it’s also a new set and has many adorable flowers and sentiments.
Before I move to my second card, I highly recommend the Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer Pen. Before using it, I just thought it was a gold shimmer pen but I was wrong. This pen has clear + shiny gold shimmer colours – I mean not too much gold colour. It made my watercolour flowers more shiny and pretty. I love, love, love it so much!!

For my second card with the Peony Bloom set, I used the Novu Shimmer Powders.
I randomly stamped flowers & leaves on watercolour paper panel using Nuvo Black Shadow hybrid ink. Next, I applied clean water all over the stamped panel using spray bottle, and then I sprinkled some of the shimmer powders in Catherine Wheel, lilac waterfall, Green Parade, and Falling Leaves onto the wet stamped panel. Once I applied powders, I brushed them with a wet paint brush.
It looks quite messy but artsy, isn’t it? :D
