WPlus9 – Watercolour Flower Cards

Hello crafty friends!
I am very happy to be a guest for Wplus9 today! Wplus9 flower stamp is definitely the gem of my stamp collection. Oh, I am so honoured!
YoonsunHur-20160621-Wplus9-A001For my first card today, I used the new Beautiful Bouquet: Mums stamp set. First, I stamped the flower image on watercolour paper with VersaFine Onyx Black, then trimmed it with MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Next, I watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor using a paint brush. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus set on the panel in black. Finally, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized kraft card base using dimensional foam tape.

YoonsunHur-20160621-Wplus9-B001Here is another watercolour flower card with my all-time favourite Botanical Bunch stamp set. I tried to create a subtle, yet lovely watercolour effect. First, I stamped the clustered flower image from the Botanical Bunch set at the top & bottom part of watercolour paper panel with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. I then brushed them with a bit of water using water brush. Next, I watercoloured the rest areas with Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey, and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks using a wet paint brush, then added the Perfect Pearls Mist here and there. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Hello” from white card stock using the Hand Lettered Hello die four times, glued them together using a fine tip glue pen. Once dry the panel, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then adhered the sentiment die cut at the centre of the card using a fine tip glue pen.

Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus

Hello crafty friends!
Today I am just popping in to show you the watercolour flower card that I’ve made using Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus stamp set. Wplus9 is one of my beloved stamp companies and their flower stamps are so beautiful, always!

YoonsunHur-20160218-Wplus9-001With this new Ranunculus stamp set, I couldn’t resist watercolouring! I just wanted to make a beautiful spring card filled with colourful flowers.

For my no line watercolour card, I 1) Stamped the image from Wplus9 Ranunculus set onto watercolour paper panel using Antique Linen Distress ink. 2) Coloured them with Distress markers (Supply links are at the bottom of the post). 3) Added black ink splatters. 4) Stamped the sentiment in pigment black. 5) Mounted the panel on A2 size white card base using double-sided tape.

SSS STAMPtember® – Band Camp

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Stamptember-Wplus9Today I want to share with you a couple cards I’ve made using so precious Band Camp stamp set. It is made in collaboration with Wplus9 for STAMPtember®!!
Stamptember-Wplus9The band camp stamp set took my breath away when I first saw it. These 4 adorable kids in the set looked like Christmas toy soldiers and it reminded me of my warm Christmas memories. Oh! I really, truly love it!!

YoonsunHur-20150921-SSS-Stamptember01To create my first card, I 1) Stamped lots of images onto the watercolour panel randomly using VersaFine pigment ink Onyx Black. 2) Coloured them with Distress markers and then coloured the rest areas with Festive Berries Distress ink. 3) Stamped the sentiment on the black card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 4) Mounted all elements as shown to the Fog Gray card stock.
YoonsunHur-20150921-SSS-Stamptember02I will definitely use it again with Christmas sentiments during Christmas season!

YoonsunHur-20150921-SSS-Stamptember03For my second card, I was totally inspired by super talented Debby Hughes’s watercolor rainbow card. She (absolutely) blew me away with her watercolour masterpiece!!

To create the card, I 1) Blended on the watercolour panel with Festive Berries, Mustard SeedMowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers Distress inks using mini blending tool. 2) Spritzed the inked panel with water and added water droplets. 3) Stamped the kids and banner from the Band Camp set on the white card stock using black pigment ink and then fussy cut them. 4) Stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the inked panel and then mounted it on the white card base. 5) Adhered the kids and banner as shown to the inked base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few clear sequins.

That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy STAMPtember®!!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

TCC #27 – LOVE

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here we are again with a new challenge at The Card Concept!

IP-27Here is an inspirational picture -What a beautiful ‘LOVE’ word!!

Here is what I came up with:
20150121-TCC-01I belong to the Mixed Media category and I thought -it’s just my opinion- making my own background with stamps, inks, and other colouring mediums is a part of the mixed media.

For background my card, I used dotted chevron stripe from Wplus9 Borders & Backgrounds 4 Stamp Set. I heat embossed it using white embossing powder at first. I then blended with Distress Ink Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Fired Brick using blending tool and then spritzed with Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz Sparkle.
