MFT May Release Countdown – Day 3

Hello crafty friends, blessed Sunday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 3.

My card today features the Ocean Pals Stamp Set & Die-namics along with other MFT products.

Here are my easy to follow watercoloured sea scene tutorial with step by step pictures. :)
I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using stitched rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 29 Die-namics. I placed the Ocean Waves Die-namics on the panel, then die cut them.
I watercoloured 4 pieces of the panel (from the bottom) blue using Peerless watercolors, and then made sunray on the top part using the Radiating Rays stencil and Scattered Straw Distress ink. I made self-adhesive sheet using double-sided tape.
I removed the tape from the sheet, and then adhered all pieces on the sticky paper panel.

I stamped and watercoloured all sea creatures from the Ocean Pals stamp set, die cut them with the Ocean Pals Die-namics. Once the background panel was dry, I mounted it on top-folded Primitive White card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using foam tape.

SSS Floral Easter Cards

Hello crafty friends, happy Easter weekend!!
Today I want to share with you my couple of floral Easter cards with the Suzy’s In Full Bloom Watercolor Paintable Prints.

Here is what I came up with:
To create the card, I watercoloured the image with Peerless watercolors and a wet paint brush. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it out using the Stitches Rectangle panel die, and then mounted it on top-folded Lipstick Red card base using double-sided tape. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Uplifting Thoughts set on black card stock in white, fussy cut it, then added it on the card front using foam tape.
It’s so easy to make with the Suzy’s In Full Bloom Watercolor Paintable Prints!!

My second card is pretty much the same as the first. I watercoloured the flower image with Peerless watercolors. Once it was dry, I fussy cut it, and then stamped the sentiment (from the Happy Easter stamp set) on the yellow flower in VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I mounted it on Lipstick Red card base using foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets & sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy Easter, everyone!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day4-b001I started by stamping all images from the Space Explorer set on watercolour paper panel in pigment black ink – I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool. I then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and water brush. I used Faded Jeans Distress ink for the dark blue background. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and then mounted it on the Primitive White card base using foam tape. yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day4-a001For my second card, I made a (kind of) CAS floral card. I 1) Die cut a piece of white card stock using stitched rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 2) Stamped flowers from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on the panel using Gravel Gray hybrid ink. 3) Stamped the word “Hugs” from the Lots of Hugs set on the bottom of the panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then heat embossed a coordinating sentiment in white. 4) Stamped some flowers from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on watercolour paper in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolors, and then fussy cut them. 5) Mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements on it using foam tape.
