SSS Lucky to Know You Release Blog Hop – Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Lucky to Know You Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from super talented Laura Bassen’s blog you are on the right track!

For my first card, I’m featuring so adorable Bunny Butt Peek A Boo stamp & die set. I die cut the Wonky Rectangle panel from watercolour paper first, and then stamped bunny’s butt on the centre of the panel using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I coloured it with Altenew alcohol markers, and then die cut it with the matching die. I added green leaves using the new Leaves stencils & green coloured dye inks.
It’s a Peek-A-Boo window! The back of the Peek A Boo bunny, I stamped & coloured the bunny’s face, fussy cut it, and then adhered it. Inside the Peek-A-Boo window, I stamped the Layered Tulips with several Simon’s dye inks & added floral clear sequins:
Tulip petals : (light to dark) Rose Apple & Lipstick Red dye inks
Leaves : Green Apple & Green Leaf dye inks.
This Peek-A-Boo bunny is SUPER CUTE!!

For my other two cards, I made the Easter cards with brand new CZ Design Inlaid Cross, CZ Design He is Risen Words, Daffodil Stem, Crocus Flowers dies – these are definitely my most favourites among the April products.
For the Daffodil background, I die cut daffodils from watercolour paper using the Daffodil Stem die first, and then inked inner pieces using Fossilized Amber Distress ink & Green Apple dye ink. I applied double-sided tape to the back of 4 outlined daffodil die cut, and then inlaid all of the pieces in place.
For the cross on the centre, I used the CZ Design Inlaid Cross die set – it is so gorgeous! I die cut the solid cross from kraft paper, patterned cross from white cardstock, then assembled them together using foam tape.
For the sentiment, I used the CZ Design Clean Line Faith stamp set.

For the floral background as above, I used the Daffodil Stem & the Crocus Flowers die sets. And I used the CZ Design He is Risen die set for the sentiment.
The whole world is now shuddering due to coronavirus. I’m praying that God protect all of us and strongly believe that God protect us! FAITH OVER FEAR!!

  7. Your cards are absolutely stunning! That bunny is way too cute, and I really like the overall design on the front of that card. Your use of the daffodil dies is so pretty, with the shading and design, and I love your watercolor/ink splattered bases under them. That white cross is a perfect addition to a religious card. Thanks for sharing. And stay safe out there!
