PPP September 2022 Product Release Blog Hop – Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh September 2022 Product Release Blog Hop. If you arrived here from the super talented Jeanne Jachnas blog you are on the right track.

There are full of beautiful autumn-themed products in September. As we all know, it’s the best season to make many romantic cards, yay!!

For this card, I used brand new Layered Foliage stencil and Grateful Script die.

I laid stencil on watercolour paper panel without wavering, inked autumn coloured Distress inks on the top and bottom part of the panel. I die cut the Grateful Script from thick white cardstock and also die cut some tiny leaves from the same white cardstock using the Fall Tree die set.

I mounted the autumn foliage panel on white card base first, and then adhered the sentiment & tiny leaves on the centre of the card using form tape. I decorated the card with Creamsicle & Limeade Pearls.

For my second card, you might see it on the PPP blog as a sneak peek card. I used the Autumn Leaf Wreath set.

I made a watercoloured autumn foliage wreath, die cut the word “Grateful” from metallic gold cardstock and then mounted them on the Pretty Petals Background panel.

SSS Autumn Leaves

Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
I believe that you had a wonderful and “artistic” weekend. :D
My first torn edge autumn card was loved so much – oh, I was so happy!! So, I have another torn edge autumn card with the gorgeous Crystal Distortion embossing folder today.

I started by making torn edge background with the Crystal Distortion embossing folder. I placed an A2 sized watercolour paper into the embossing folder, ran it through the die cutting machine. I then tore the edges, applied some autumn coloured Distress inks to the dry embossed panel – I used Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Bundled Sage. I added ink splatters and water drops all around the panel.

For the leafy wreath on the centre of the card, I used the Autumn Leaves set. I stamped the images onto watercolour paper using VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink first, and then coloured them with Distress inks:
Leaves: Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, Tea Dye and Dried Marigold
Berries: Festive Berries, Dried Marigold and Seedless Preserves.

For my second card, I used the Large Stitched Maple die along with the Crystal Distortion embossing folder.

In this card, I debossed using embossing folder. I applied Crystal Distortion pattern to white paper panel first, and then added ink splatters.

I die cut the Large Stitched Maple from watercolour paper, then coloured it with some autumn coloured Distress inks like the first card here. I decorated the back of the maple die cut with a natural twine to make it look more like autumn. :D

Concord & 9th Feature Friday – Week 3

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
I’m back today with my last cards for Concord & 9th as a guest designer for August. I have a couple of watercolour cards with the Heartfelt Blooms & Flowers A La Carte stamp sets. These outline stamp sets are perfect for beautiful watercolour cards.

Heartfelt Blooms

Flowers A La Carte

For my first card, I used the Heartfelt Blossoms Bundle along with liquid watercolours. I stamped a large sized outlined floral image onto watercolour paper using dark brown pigment ink first, and then coloured the stamped image with some liquid watercolours:
Red flowers: Sorbet / Yellow flowers: Buttercup & Stardust
Leaves: Sprout, Parsley and Evergreen / Frame: Wheat

For the sentiment, I used it in the Heartfelt Blossoms die set. I used White cardstock for letters, Wheat cardstock for shadow.

Here is a closer look:

You know what? I really, really love Sorbet, Buttercup, Sprout and Wheat colours – oh, so beautiful!!

For my second card, I used the Flowers A La Carte Bundle – isn’t this set so lovely?!!

I stamped the images onto watercolour paper using dark brown pigment ink, then coloured them with liquid watercolours like the first card. I used all of C9 liquid watercolours to make this card.

I tried to make a wooden rustic flower cart with Wheat, Stardust, Dove and Mushroom liquid watercolours. I’m so happy with the results!

I really hope my cards inspired all of you to make something beautiful.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

At first, I made a autumn coloured background with the Crystal Distortion embossing folder. I applied (from the top left to bottom right) Tea Dye, Bundled Sage, Scattered Straw and Dried Marigold Distress inks onto the Crystal Distortion embossed panel using mini round ink blending tools. Oh, I love the new Crystal Distortion embossing folder so much. It is a MUST-HAVE item!!

I added water drops & ink splatters, then tore the top and bottom of the ink blended panel for a vintage autumn look. :D For the sunflower on the centre of the card, I used the Sunflower Petals die set. I die cut all pieces from watercolour paper, then inked each die cut using some Distress inks:
Petals: Fossilized Amber & Rusty Hinge
Centre: Walnut Stain & Rusty Hinge.
For the green leaves, I used the Detailed Rose die set. I die cut solid & detailed leaves from watercolour paper first, and then inked with Crushed Olive Distress ink.

Concord & 9th August Feature Friday ā€“ Week 2

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I have a couple of autumn-themed cards with the Harvest Wreath & the Weathered Wood Background stamp sets.

Harvest Wreath Turnabout

Weathered Wood Background

I started by stamping the Weathered Wood Background onto white paper panel using Wheat dye ink. I then stamped the Harvest Wreath Turnabout onto the Weathered Wood stamped panel – there are two templates in the stamp set and those are super helpful!! I used Parsley, Stardust, Cranberry and Midnight dye inks to stamp a cluster of foliage.

For the second card, I stamped the Weathered Wood Background onto white cardstock using Aqua Sky dye ink. I then tore the edges. I stamped a foliage wreath with several dye inks first, and then added mini leaf die cuts as shown in the picture.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Harvest Wreath Bundle!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
