Hello crafty friends, happy weekend! Today I have a floral Mother’s Day card with newly released PPP Spring Corner Frame Die. It’s so pretty floral die, isn’t it?!! I think it is perfect for Mother’s Day cards!
I die cut the Spring Corner Frame from thick white cardstock first, and then applied Distress inks to floral petals & leaves die cuts using blending brushes. I inlaid inked pieces in place.
I stamped adorable birds from the Spring Robins set on white cardstock using black dye ink, coloured the stamped images with Copic markers, then die cut them with the matching dies. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Mom set on black cardstock in white, trimmed it as a small banner.
I mounted the floral panel on beige card base using foam tape first, and then added birds, sentiment, and lots of jewels as shown in the picture. :D
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all! Love Love Love RejoicingCrafts
I stamped flower images from the Fresh Cut Roses set onto watercolour paper panel using Rocky Shore dye ink. I then coloured the stamped images using Watercolor 36 pan set: (Roses) mixed with Cotton Candy and Coral Berry and little bit of Paper Bag (Leaves) mixed with Frayed Leaf and Espresso and Bamboo.
Take a closer look:
I heat embossed the flower in white first, and then watercoloured it – I used Crimson for petals, Forest Glades & Bamboo for leaves. Red flower and dotted washi tape are the best combination of Altenew floral cards. :D

For the heart background on the centre of the card, I used the Layered Hearts Stencils and Tattered Rose & Festive Berries Distress inks. I laid the first stencil onto heart shaped die cut and applied the Tattered Rose, and with the second stencil, I applied Festive Berries Distress ink. I love the overlapping of colours. :D
For the “Lovely” sentiment, I die cut it from metallic gold cardstock, and another sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Large Floral Hearts set in white.
I mounted all elements as shown in the picture on beige card base. Lastly, I decorated the card with red tiny hearts & Sweetheart Rhinestones.
Happy New Year, crafty friends! Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Love You and Love You, Too Blog Hop. I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing blog hop! If you arrived here from super talented Amanda Korotkova’s blog you are on the right track!
Today, I will share 4 cards using Love You (December-released) products only because Love You, Too products arrived late but don’t worry! I will post new projects using Love You, Too products from next week. So, shall we get started? :D
For my first card, I used the You Have My Heart & the With All My Heart along with other SSS goodies. I die cut A2 sized rectangle panel from watercolour paper using the Basic Rectangles die set first. I stamped flowers using Antique Linen Distress ink, watercoloured the stamped images using Distress inks: Red flowers: Festive Berries, Candied Apple and Fired Brick Leaves: Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive Flower buds: Wild Honey / Branches: Vintage Photo
Once the watercoloured floral panel was dry, I added sentiment & lovely bird couple as shown in the picture using foam tape. I love this adorable bird couple. :D
For my second card, I used the Splendid Leaves embossing folder & the Floral Card Front die. I applied Distress inks to the inside of an embossing folder first, and then spritzed the inked area with water. After that, I ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cut machine – Ohhhh, I love a watercolour look!!
I die cut the Floral Card Front from thick white cardstock and added onto the background panel using foam tape.
My last card for the hop, I used the Layering Hearts stencil, the With All My Heart and the Love Birds die. I laid the heart stencil on an A2 sized white paper panel in place, applied (from the top) Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries and Fired Brick Distress inks using blending brush.
I die cut the sentiment from white cardstock using the With All My Heart die, the Love Birds from red cardstock, and then adhered them over the panel using foam tape. I decorated the card with red heart die cuts & clear jewels.
