SSS Happy Birthday

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!
Today I am just popping in to share my cheerful birthday card with the Sunrise Border and Spinner Trail dies along with some old SSS goodies.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-20170227-sssp05-001 To create this card, I 1) Die cut 2 of the Sunrise Borders and 3 of the Spinner Trails from the SSS coloured cardstock: (Red) Lipstick Red, (Yellow) Sunshine, (Green) Green Apple, (Blue) Sea Glass, (Purple) Lavender. 2) Die cut the Stitched Whirl background panel from watercolour paper. 3) Adhered all of the fun borders as shown to the Stitched Whirl panel using fine tip glue pen. 4) Inked on the panel with some Distress inks in rainbow order: Festive Berries, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, and Seedless Preserves. 5) Added water droplets. 6) Die cut the Birthday Circle and the Carousel Horse from white cardstock. 7) Mounted all elements as shown to top-folded kraft card base using foam tape. 8) Embellished with a few PPP clear droplets & sequins.

SSS Cottage Stems

Hello crafty friends, happy Sunday! I hope you are having a great weekend!!
Today I want to share with you my card with the beautiful SSS Cottage Stems die.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-20170226-sssp04-001 To create this card, I 1) Die cut 3 Cottage Stems from watercolour paper. 2) Adhered them on watercolour paper panel using fine tip glue pen. 3) Trimmed the panel using the Stitches Rectangles die. 4) Ink blended on the panel with (from red to purple) Festive Berries, Scattered Straw, Crushed Olive, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves Distress inks and mini ink blending tool. 5) Brushed on the inked panel with a wet paint brush – Distress inks react with water so well! 6) Added water droplets and white ink splatters. 7) Die cut the word “Believe” from white card stock. 8) Mounted the coloured panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment die cut using foam tape. 9) Embellished with a few PPP 3mm clear sequins.

SSS Happy Birthday

Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m popping in to share with you my fun birthday card with some of my favourite SSS stamp sets.

Have you seen Disney animated movie “UP” before? 78-year-old balloon salesman ties thousands of balloons to his house, flies away to the South American wilderness. This animated movie is a great inspiration to me especially when I create birthday themed projects :D

Here is what I came up with (See what I mean? :D):
yoonsunhur-20170220-sssp03-001 I started by stamping cute bunny from the Cuddly Critters set, a cone hat from the Cuddly Critters Accessories set on white card stock in black hybrid ink, coloured them with Copic markers, then die cut them with the matching dies. Next, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the Basic Rectangles panel die, then stamped balloons (patterned circles from the Circle Friends stamp set, hearts from the Lila’s Heart stamp set) on the panel using several SSS dye and hybrid inks: (Pink circle) Rosie Cheeks, (Yellow circle) Sunshine, (Red circle) Hero Arts Neon Red, (Dark red heart) Schoolhouse Red, (dotty heart) Sunkist. I drew balloon strings using Copic Multiliner Black.
yoonsunhur-20170220-sssp03-002 I mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the bunny wearing a birthday party hat on the bottom of the panel using foam tape. For the sentiments, I used the Cuddly Critters Accessories stamp set.
yoonsunhur-20170220-sssp03-003 This cute little bunny tied the balloons to one of his eyes to celebrate his best friend’s birthday! So cute :D

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my watercolour thanks card with the SSS Bright Blossoms and Thanks word dies.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-20170214-sssp02-001 There are so many talented crafty friends around me and my card was inspired by Amy Sheffer‘s beautiful layered watercolour background! She is definitely one of my favourite card makers!!

yoonsunhur-20170214-sss-p01 I started by creating a layered watercolour background. I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using A2 sized rectangle panel die in the Basic Rectangles die set, then die cut both ends of the panel using the Scallop Stitches dies. I then watercoloured on the bottom part of the panel in warm shades of red and yellow using Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor and a wet paint brush.
yoonsunhur-20170214-sss-p02 Next, I die cut the Bright Blossoms from a separate watercolour paper, then coloured the petals with Festive Berries – I used Distress reinker. I die cut the Bright Blossoms from the same watercolour paper once again because I wanted to use white outlined flower cut.
