SSS My Favorite Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Simon Says Stamp My Favorite Release Blog Hop!!
Simon Says Stamp released jam-packed full of fabulous products – so adorable cuddly critters, the beautiful flowers, and the bicycle! You will say that they are all your favourites!!

YoonsunHur-20160422-SSS-A001 For my first card, I made a watercolour floral wreath card with my Wild Beauty stamp set. First I traced a circle on the centre of the watercolour paper panel very lightly with a pencil. I then stamped the flowers and leaves around the circle with several colours of Distress ink – I used second generation stamping technique. I then brushed the stamped images with water using waterbrush. For the sentiment in the circle frame, I used the Big Scripty Greetings stamp set.

YoonsunHur-20160422-SSS-B001 I just couldn’t resist another play with the flower stamps. I randomly stamped the flowers and leaves from Sketch Ranunculus and Wild Beauty sets on the bottom portion of the watercolour panel using VersaMark Embossing ink, then heat embossed with Hero Arts White embossing powder. I then loosely coloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I die cut the word “Faith” from the watercoloured panel using Painted Faith die and then mounted it using dimensional foam tape.

YoonsunHur-20160422-SSS-C001 For my last card today, I used the new Beautiful Ride stamp set. Oh, I love that bicycle so much. Isn’t it wonderful?!! For the background, I randomly stamped the bicycle and flowers onto the Ivory card base using Stone hybrid ink, then added some dark shading with a Copic marker C1. And then I stamped the bicycle and other accessories on a separate watercolour paper using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, coloured it with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor, then die cut it with Beautiful Ride dies.

What I would give to be able to watercolor half as good as you. I really like this Ranunculus stamp set in watercolors. I also like the way you used the bicycle stamp as a background. Everyone in this SSS hop team are so creative and given me some great ideas. Big thanks to you all!

Oh my gosh, the colors you used are so amazing! I am a colorful person although you wouldn’t know it today with my gray Disneyland sweat shirt and blue jeans and these cards are so me! I love them all! I love all the stamp sets you used and I wouldn’t mind winning any of them. This hop was so much fun but boy are my legs tired from all that hopping! You’d have thought I was a Kangaroo! LOL I think they saved the best for last. Thank you for letting us see your work.
