SSS Crafty Hugs Release Blog Hop – Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Crafty Hugs Release Blog Hop. If you arrived here from super talented Debby Hughes’s blog you are on the right track!

For today’s cards, I used the So Beautiful Background Stamp.
I die cut the Wonky Rectangle panel from watercolour paper first, and then stamped wildflowers onto the panel using black pigment ink. I then placed Clouds For Days stencil over the panel in place, made clouds using Tumbled Glass Distress ink.
I stamped another set of wildflowers in black, coloured all flowers with polychromos colored pencils, then fussy cut them out. I mounted the panel on kraft card base using double-sided tape first, and then added flowers on the right place using foam tape.
For the sentiment, I used the Sentiment Strips Reverse Sympathy.

  1. This is such a clever way to add lift to a line drawn stamp! I’m marking this post for future reference and inspiration! Thanks so much !

  2. Absolutely beautiful technique and love the bright colors. I must try that with the So Beautiful cling stamp. TFS!
