SSS Sending Sunshine Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Welcome to the second day of the Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Bibi Cameron’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I am featuring the Bohemian Lace Background Stamp along with other SSS products.
I started by heat embossing the Bohemian Lace Background onto watercolour paper panel using white embossing powder. I die cut from the bottom right corner of the panel using the Stitched Circle die, and then ink blended on the panel using several Distress inks & mini round blending tool: Scattered Straw, Victorian Velvet, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Tea Dye, and Pumice Stone.
I stamped the sentiment “Thank you” from the Wreath Greetings set on the bottom right corner of the white card base using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, then mounted the main panel onto the card front using foam tape. I added some tiny butterflies (from the Flickering Butterflies die) and PPP Sparkling Clear Jewels around sentiment area.

For my second card, I am featuring the Spring Flower Burst & the CZ Design Love You Like Stamp Sets.
I stamped flower clusters from the Spring Flower Burst set onto watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, watercoloured the stamped images with Derwent Inktense colored pencils & water brush. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the CZ Design Love You Like set on Schoolhouse Red cardstock in white, trimmed it down. I stamped another sentiment “SO SO MUCH” on white card stock with black ink, trimmed it down as well.
Once the watercoloured floral panel was completely dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment cut & tiny butterflies using foam tape.

For my last card for the hop, I am featuring the Hello There Stamp Set and the Dazzling Circle Die.
I die cut the Dazzling Circles from an A2 kraft paper panel at first. Under the die cut panel, I ink blended on white card stock with green coloured Distress inks: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Crushed Olive.
I added a cute watercoloured squirrel & sentiment banner (from the Hello There stamp set), tiny butterflies (from the Flickering Butterflies die) using foam tape.

  1. Hmmmm….you have given me something to think about. Masking with the water colour in a radiant pattern, fantastic looks like a comfortable patch work to me. Love then all!!

  2. I like all 3 cards, but your coloring on the Spring Burst florals is amazing. Love the solar burst stencil and the Bohemian Lace stamp.

  3. I love the ink blending you did with the starburst pattern. All of your cards are fabulous. Love the last one too. So adorable.

  4. So original. The color wheel with the bohemian lace was lovely and new. I really liked cuting the dazzling circles on the brown paper with the colors behind it. Very Cool!

  5. All of them are great but my favorite is the first one, that stamp is so pretty and I loved the color combination you came up with.

  6. Love your watercoloring on the flowers and how you used the circle diecut with the squirrel. Those critters are so cute! TFS.

  7. Yoonsun, your cards are simply stunning! Each one shows how wonderfully creative you are!! Thanks for sharing your awesome creativity with us!!

  8. Your cards are wonderful. My favorite is the first one using the Bohemian Lace Die! The way you inked it is magnificent!! Great job, Yoonsun!

  9. Stunning cards! I thought the first one was gorgeous and then I scrolled down and saw the second one! Beautiful! And thanks for using the Dazzling Circles; I love how you made this card.
