SSS Sending Sunshine Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Welcome to the second day of the Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Bibi Cameron’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I am featuring the Bohemian Lace Background Stamp along with other SSS products.
I started by heat embossing the Bohemian Lace Background onto watercolour paper panel using white embossing powder. I die cut from the bottom right corner of the panel using the Stitched Circle die, and then ink blended on the panel using several Distress inks & mini round blending tool: Scattered Straw, Victorian Velvet, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Tea Dye, and Pumice Stone.
I stamped the sentiment “Thank you” from the Wreath Greetings set on the bottom right corner of the white card base using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, then mounted the main panel onto the card front using foam tape. I added some tiny butterflies (from the Flickering Butterflies die) and PPP Sparkling Clear Jewels around sentiment area.

For my second card, I am featuring the Spring Flower Burst & the CZ Design Love You Like Stamp Sets.
I stamped flower clusters from the Spring Flower Burst set onto watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, watercoloured the stamped images with Derwent Inktense colored pencils & water brush. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the CZ Design Love You Like set on Schoolhouse Red cardstock in white, trimmed it down. I stamped another sentiment “SO SO MUCH” on white card stock with black ink, trimmed it down as well.
Once the watercoloured floral panel was completely dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment cut & tiny butterflies using foam tape.

For my last card for the hop, I am featuring the Hello There Stamp Set and the Dazzling Circle Die.
I die cut the Dazzling Circles from an A2 kraft paper panel at first. Under the die cut panel, I ink blended on white card stock with green coloured Distress inks: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Crushed Olive.
I added a cute watercoloured squirrel & sentiment banner (from the Hello There stamp set), tiny butterflies (from the Flickering Butterflies die) using foam tape.

  1. I really like the soft pale colors on your first card and how you made it look like a kaleidoscope. Really cool and trippy! Thank you!

  2. Beautiful cards and all so different! The second is my favorite, I especially love the watercoloring and the movement of images across the card!

  3. All your cards are fabulous – love the different coloured rays behind the Bohemian Lace background, the beautiful flowers of the second and the third card is so cute!

  4. Oh, what interesting colors you chose! It creates an old-timey feel with the lace pattern and the desaturated colors. I also love the florals. You just can’t go wrong with that stamp, can you? Thanks for sharing your cool design sense with us!
