Altenew October Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the Altenew October Product Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from so amazing Nicole Picadura!!
altenew-oct-bloghop-bannerIn October, we are releasing 16 stamp sets for creating Christmas projects and my card today features the Bells and Bows & Holiday Wishes Stamp Sets – Christmas is coming and festivity is already in the air!!
yoonsunhur-20161013-altenew-001I used a lot of Altenew dye inks to stamp the Christmas bells and bows :D I randomly stamped the layered images from the Bells and Bows set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel using dye inks (I used a MISTI to get exact placement of my stamped layers):
Red bells on the top part: Peach Perfect (the base layer), Ruby Red (outline and dark shadow)
Brown bell: Rocky Shore (base), Mocha (shadow), Espresso (outline)
Blue bell on the right side: Sea Glass (base), Desert Night (outline and dark shadow)
Blue bell on the left side: Ocean Waves (base), Dusk (shadow), Desert Night (outline)
Green bell on the right side: Mango Smoothie (base), Evergreen (outline and dark shadow)
Green bell on the left side: Frayed Leaf (base), Forest Glades (shadow), Evergreen (outline)
Red bell on the bottom: Frosty Pink (base), Crimson (shadow), Grapevine (outline) and I used Dark Chocolate to stamp the darkest part of them.
Green bow: Frayed Leaf (lightest), Forest Glades, Evergreen (darkest)
Red bow: Frosty PinkCoral BerryRuby Red
Yellow bow: Warm Sunshine, Rocky Shore, Mocha
Brown bow: Sand DunesRocky ShoreMocha
Purple bow: Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Midnight Violet. (Phew!!)
For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Holiday Wishes set on red card stock in white, cut it with banner die. I mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner on it using foam tape. I decorated the sentiment banner with natural twine bow, silver jingle bell, and some tiny star wood veneers because it’s Christmas!!
yoonsunhur-20161013-altenew-002It’s so colourful, isn’t it? If you’re considering buying some inks, I strongly recommend the Altenew dye inks. The colours are so truly beautiful!!

Your next stop on the hop is super talented Lydia Evans!! We hope you have all enjoyed our fun and inspirational blog hop!
