Winnie & Walter World Cardmaking Day 2016 Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, happy World Cardmaking Day!
I’m so thrilled (and honoured) to be a part of the Winnie and Walter World Cardmaking Day 2016 Blog Hop!!
wcmdbannerbloghopI have a Christmas card to share using so gorgeous Winter Woodland stamp set with you today.
yoonsunhur-20161001-ww-001To start, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using an A2 sized rectangle panel die. I then randomly stamped the pine boughs, pine cones, and berries from the Winter Woodland set on watercolour paper panel using the traditional Christmas colours of Distress ink: (Pine boughs) Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, and Crushed Olive / (Pine cones) Vintage Photo / (Berries) Festive Berries and Fired Brick.
yoonsunhur-20161001-ww-003For the faux watercolour look, I lightly brushed the stamped images using water brush.

  2. Incredible detail on the card. Not just the beautiful background but the stitching of the woodgrain and, of course, that extraordinarily lovely stag. Gorgeous card.

  3. Great winter card! I love the design and color combo. I have this stamp set, haven’t played with in a while, you made me want to pull out and play. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  4. You have combined some of my favorite things in this card… the pinecones, the deer, the tree boughs, and the look of wood on the bottom panel of the card. <3 I also appreciate the stitching you did. It all combines so well to create an "outdoorsy" feel. Perfect for this or any time of year!
