Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello, hello crafty friends, welcome to the Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Jeanne streiff blog.
(This is my second post of the day, for the MFT WSC 287, click HERE.)
Altenew_MySweetPetunia_CollaborationI am sharing with you my flower card with the Altenew, one of my favourites, Vintage Roses layered stamp set. I think MISTI is perfect stamping tool for getting a nice crisp image with multi step stamps!!
YoonsunHur-20160629-Altenew-001To create the card, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using an A2 sized stitched rectangle panel die first, and then ink blended on it with Antique Linen Distress ink using mini blending tool. Once the panel was dry, I die cut the centre of the inked panel using stitched circle die to use sentiment panel.
Altenew-20160629-mistiNext, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Vintage Roses set on the inked panel with several colours of Altenew dye ink:
Flowers: (from lighter to darker) RougeVelvet, and Jet Black
Leaves: Forest Glades, Evergreen, and Jet Black
For the sentiment, I used the Oriental Orchid stamp set.

  1. Yoonsun, I love how you emphasized your sentiment by die cutting the circle and decorating around it. Great card and fun hop!

  2. I would never have thought to use black in the layering of color, but I love the depth it gives. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Altenew Vintage Flower stamps are beautiful. I dont own any of their inks yet, but plan on doing so soon. Also as you demonstrated, the Misti makes lining up the multi-layer sttamps look easy

  4. Super gorgeous card! I love the rich color of the roses and that you made the b background yourself with distress ink. TFS!

  5. Wow!! These roses are so beautifully colored and I love the background as well. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous card.
