MFT WSC 287

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
I am sharing with you my card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 287.
MFT_WSC_287
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160629-MFTWSC287-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the Bundles of Blossoms Background on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in Latte hybrid ink. 2) Ink blended on the bottom half of the stamped panel with Tattered Rose Distress ink using mini ink blending tool. 3) Die cut stitched fishtail frame from the panel using the Stitched Fishtail Frames Die-namics, then inlaid it in the stamped panel. 4) Watercoloured on the fishtail frame part of the panel with Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks using waterbrush. 5) Stamped the girl from the Beautiful Girl set on a separate watercolour paper in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Copic markers, and then die cut it with the Beautiful Girl Die-namics. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

  1. So glad you mentioned you posted twice today and provided a link as well. Another awesome design. I love how you played with the pattern and inlaying the dies.

  2. What a sweet card and such a cool techniques! How did you complete Step 3 so that it exactly matched the background stamped image and was perfectly centered on the card?
