Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello, hello crafty friends, welcome to the Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Jeanne streiff blog.
(This is my second post of the day, for the MFT WSC 287, click HERE.)
Altenew_MySweetPetunia_CollaborationI am sharing with you my flower card with the Altenew, one of my favourites, Vintage Roses layered stamp set. I think MISTI is perfect stamping tool for getting a nice crisp image with multi step stamps!!
YoonsunHur-20160629-Altenew-001To create the card, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using an A2 sized stitched rectangle panel die first, and then ink blended on it with Antique Linen Distress ink using mini blending tool. Once the panel was dry, I die cut the centre of the inked panel using stitched circle die to use sentiment panel.
Altenew-20160629-mistiNext, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Vintage Roses set on the inked panel with several colours of Altenew dye ink:
Flowers: (from lighter to darker) RougeVelvet, and Jet Black
Leaves: Forest Glades, Evergreen, and Jet Black
For the sentiment, I used the Oriental Orchid stamp set.

  1. Really beautiful vintage looking card. I love it and the colors! Gorgeous. Tfs and the chance to win the giveaway

  2. Your card is gorgeous! I love the coloured background and the sentiment in the stitched circle and the roses all around. So lovely.

  3. The antique linen goes so well with the vintage rose stamp and colors you used. It really gives it the vintage look, but not overly distressed.

  4. Beautiful card. If I didn’t know better I would have thought the background flowers were digital. You did such a great job.

  5. Great idea to die cut the circle and stamp the images around it! I’m going to have to try that technique! Beautiful card. I’m really like the color combo on the florals!

  6. wow…its so pretty and lovely… the combination of the clr of the cardstock goes so well with the roses.. its so lovely..
