Hello crafty friends!
Spring is in the air. Flowers will be in full bloom, and spring rains will refresh us! So today I want to share with you my spring themed card with Abby’s Spring Showers stamp set.

Here is what I came up with:
To create this card, I stamped the umbrellas from Abby’s Spring Showers set onto watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black – I masked off the umbrellas and clustered them together at the bottom of the panel. I then coloured them with Peerless watercolors using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush. I coloured the background with Tumbled Glass Distress ink using a wet paint brush, added some white ink splatters. Next, I masked off the light blue coloured umbrella and then stamped raindrops, Falling Backgrounds stamp set, over it using Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I mounted the watercoloured panel on A2 white card base using double-sided tape. For the sentiment, I stamped the word “SPRING!” from Abby’s Spring Showers set in pigment black, then “TO YOU” from Big Add Ons set on black card stock using VersaMark Embossing ink, white heat embossed.
