Happy STAMPtember, crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my rainbow birthday balloon card using the Celebrate You & Critter Crowd Sets.
I started by stamping adorable critters from the Critter Crowd set on watercolour paper using Antique Linen Distress ink. I then coloured the stamped image with Distress markers & water brush. I die cut it with the matching die.
I die cut several balloons from watercolour paper using different sized balloon dies in the Celebrate You die set. I then made rainbow balloons with some SSS dye inks – I ink blended each balloon die cut using Picket Fence Blender Brush.
Red balloon: (light to dark) Lipstick Red & Merlot
Yellow balloon: Duckling & Clementine
Green balloon: Green Apple & Evergreen
Blue balloon: Audrey Blue & Soft Navy
Purple balloon: Lavender & Deep Purple
Before gluing rainbow balloons, I stamped strings from the Celebrate You set & the sentiment “from all of us” from the Critter Crowd set onto the card front using VersaFine Onyx Black. I then mounted the watercoloured critters & rainbow balloons onto the card using foam tape.
This sentiment string is so good for birthday balloon cards! :D
