SSS STAMPtember® Hello Fall

Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
Today I have two autumn-themed cards to share with you using the SSS STAMPtember® Be-Leaf Me, Time For Wine, and Autumn Greetings stamp sets.

yoonsunhur-20160923-sss-a001 For my first card, I used the Be-Leaf Me exclusive STAMPtember set from Altenew for Simon Says Stamp. This set is currently out of stock but you still have a chance to get it!!

I stamped the layered maple leaves from the Be-Leaf Me set on watercolour paper panel using Altenew dye inks, and then added some autumn colours of Distress ink for a more subtle look. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Autumn Greetings set on the Green Apple card stock in VersaFine Onyx Black, and then trimmed it using the Stitches Circles die.

yoonsunhur-20160923-sss-b001 For my second card I used the Time For Wine stamp set as my main supply! I stamped the grapevine from the set on watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Onyx Black, and then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and water brush.

SSS Thankful For You

Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
I am really enjoying seeing all the fabulous projects with the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® products, are you?!!

Today I have a card to share with you using the Hydrangea Blooms Stamp Set, Abstract Triangles Background Stamp along with the Thankful Die.
yoonsunhur-20160913-sss-001 To create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolor paper using A2 sized Basic Rectangles Die. 2) Ink blended the watercolor paper panel with Festive Berries, Wild Honey, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans, and Tea Dye Distress inks using mini round blending tool. 3) Applied the Abstract Triangles Background with clean water, and then stamped it on the ink blended panel – Distress ink react with water! 4) Stamp the hydrangeas from the Hydrangea Blooms set on the panel with VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black. 5) Stamp “for you” sentiment from the Lovely Spring set using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black. 6) Mount the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape. 7) Adhered the word “thankful” die cut on the card front using foam tape. 8) Embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

SSS Time For Wine

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you a simple watercolour card with the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Time For Wine stamp set.
yoonsunhur-20160909-sss-001 To start, I stamped the sentiment from the Time For Wine set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel using VersaFine onyx black ink. I painted over the sentiment area with Victorian Velvet & Wild Honey Distress inks using a wet flat brush, and then added some purple ink splatters. I stamped bunch of grapes, wine bottle, and wine glass on a separate watercolour paper using Antique Linen Distress ink, coloured them with Distress markers, and then fussy cut them out. I mounted all elements as shown to white card base using foam tape, and then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

SSS STAMPtember® Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! Happy STAMPtember®!!
September is, without a doubt, my favourite time of year and I am SUPER excited to be a part of Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Blog Hop today!! Are you ready for a month long STAMPtember® celebration?! YAY! Let’s dive right in!!

Today I have three watercolour cards to share with you using the brand new exclusive STAMPtember® products! Woot!!
YoonsunHur-20160903-SSS-A001 For my first card, I used the Hydrangea Blooms stamp set I designed. I simply stamped the outlined hydrangea image from the set onto the cold press watercolour paper panel using Victorian Velvet and Seedless Preserves Distress inks first. I then stamped the solid hydrangea image over the stamped area with the same colours, brushed them using a wet paint brush for a more subtle look. For the hydrangea cluster, I used Post-It Notes to mask stamped images. For the leaves, I coloured them with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress inks.

For my second card, I used so adorable Christmas Toys stamp set – It reminded me of my childhood Christmas memories!!
YoonsunHur-20160903-SSS-B001 To start, I randomly stamped the images from the Christmas Toys set on the Stitches Rectangle watercolour paper panel using Antique Linen Distress ink, and then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and waterbrush. I coloured the background with Antique Linen Distress ink. Once the panel was dry, I gold heat embossed the edges of the panel, and then mounted it on the Schoolhouse Red card base using double-sided tape. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it on the Schoolhouse Red card stock, added natural twine and silver jingle bell.

For my last card, I played with the gorgeous Abstract Triangles background stamp. I was inspired by the beautiful fall foliage colours.
YoonsunHur-20160903-SSS-C001 To create the card, I stamped the Abstract Triangles Background on an A2 cold press watercolour paper panel using Antique Linen Distress ink, and then watercoloured the background with Peerless watercolors and waterbrush. For the sentiment, I used two word dies ‘Grathful‘ and ‘Autumn Blessings‘. The ‘Grateful’ set has both script and outline dies so we can create various styles with them!

Trick or Treat – Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember

Hello folks, Happy Monday!!
I was lucky enough to receive a free stamp set from Simon Says Stamp as part of their ‘STAMPtember‘ festivities. I’ve got ‘Trick or Treat‘ stamp set and this is one of SSS’s famous set! I am not a big fan of Halloween but, Kristina Werner’s catcula (cat + dracula) is SO so so adorable!!! Yay!

Here is what I came up with:
20140908-01 To create my card, I cut on the white panel using two different circle dies and stamped ‘trick or treat’ bubble and little bats in Memento Tuxedo Black. Besides it, I stamped cat another white cardstock in black for copic colouring. I used copic markers for cat and all other elements – spider and bats – were stamped in black.
