SSS Falling For You – Bokeh Stencils

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my cards with SSS Falling For You Exclusives.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150518-SSS-01For my card I used Bokeh Lights Stencils from Falling For You Exclusives. Bokeh is definitely one of the popular subjects in card making because Bokeh makes our cards -especially flower cards- visually appealing, leading us to focus our attention on a particular area of the image.

For the bokeh background, 1)I blended on the watercolour panel with Distress inks Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar using blending tool. 2)I then layered Bokeh stencils over the inked panel and sponged with white chalk ink, using sponge dauber. Then, I layered medium circle bokeh over the inked panel once again, coloured with Distress inks Picked Raspberry using water brush. 3)I added pearl white ink splatters.

For the flowers, 1)I stamped Artful Flowers on the watercolour paper using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I coloured them with Distress markers, covered with Wink of Stella shimmer and then fussy cut them. To finish it off, I mounted the flower panel as shown to the bokeh background panel using dimensional foam tape, added the sentiment, mixed clear sequins.

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Today I want to share with you my cards with SSS Falling For You Exclusives.

My first card here:

I love stars and circle sentiments. So I thought to myself- what if I combined the two? It would be beautiful starry night! Oh, and how a bright starry night would make an awesome birthday balloon! Lol!

To create the card, 1)I stamped stars, circle sentiments on the watercolour panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I then blended on the stamped area with Distress inks Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Stormy Sky using mini blending tool, added some water droplets, white & pearl silver ink splatters. 3)I stamped the bunny and banner at the bottom of the card using black pigment ink, drew the string of the balloon with black fine point pen.

My second card is a similar feeling to my first card but there are different coloured balloons.
YoonsunHur-20150508-SSS-03To create the card, I stamped balloons on the watercolour panel using Distress ink Antique Linen, coloured them with Distress markersBarn DoorFestive BerriesWorn LipstickPicked Raspberry. I then drew the outline of the balloons using black fine point pen.

A cute kitty holding a bunch of balloons to celebrate the birth of a new baby! Isn’t it so awesome? :D

For the falling hearts background, 1)I stamped falling hearts on the watercolour panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I blended the stamped panel with Distress inks Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Picked Raspberry using mini blending tool, added some water droplets, white ink splatters. 3)When the panel is dry, I trimmed the inked panel using Stitches Rectangles Die and cut the window from the bottom of the panel, added some sequins.
