SSS Wednesday Challenge: Halloween

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
(This is my second post of the day, for the PPP October Release Blog Hop, click HERE.)
This week the challenge is “Halloween.” Honestly, and personally, I don’t like to make Halloween card but today’s MFT Halloween dragons are so cute! :D
I started by making “Halloween” background with several dark coloured Distress inks. I blended on a 4.25″ x 5.5″ watercolour paper panel with Fired Brick, Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans and Walnut Stain Distress inks. I then added water drops all over the inked panel. Next, I die cut the word “HALLOWEEN” from white card stock five times using the MFT Stitched Alphabet Die-Namics, stacked each alpha up using fine tip glue pen – made them thicker like chipboard.
I stamped adorable dragons & fires from the MFT Magical Dragons set on watercolour paper using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, coloured them with the Altenew Artist Markers, and then die cut them with the MFT Magical Dragons Die-Namics.

SSS Cheer and Joy Release Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Saturday!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Cheer and Joy Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Nichol Spohr’s blog you are on the right track!

For my first card, I used the Christmas Foliage die set along with the other Christmas-themed die sets. I die cut Christmas berries from Lipstick Red and kraft card stock, leaves from Green Apple, Green Leafy and Mint card stock using the Christmas Foliage die set. I die cut the word “JOY” from white card stock 5 times, stacked them up using fine tip glue pen, and then applied Antique Linen Distress ink onto it. I die cut tiny snowflakes from white card stock using the Stitched Flakes die.
I adhered the word “JOY” vertically onto the ivory card base first, and then added berries and leaves near the “JOY” using foam tape. I decorated the card with tiny snowflakes, clear sequins, white dots. I added opaque white ink splatters all over the card front as well.

For my second card, I used the Pinecone Background stamp as my main supply. This. Is. really AMAZING!!
I stamped images on watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Vintage Sepia, then roughly coloured stamped images with Altenew Liquid Watercolors: Ruby Red, Paper Bag, Espresso, Mountain Mist, Lime and Sweet Leaf.
I die cut the Lea Snowflake from white card stock, the word “Joyful” from Lipstick Red, shadow from white. Once the main panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements using foam tape. I added, of course, opaque white ink splatters all over the card because, it’s Christmas!! :D

SSS Wednesday Challenge Week 2: Christmas

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! :D
This week the challenge is “CHRISTMAS!!!” Oh, Christmas project is definitely my most favourite!

For my card today, I only used die sets. I die cut the Dala horse from cream, red and kraft card stock first, then assembled together using fine tip glue pen & foam tape – I used Neat and Tangled Dala Horse dies but it’s unfortunately retired.. you can use any other Dala horse die set! ;)
I also die cut the sentiment “Joyful” from red and vellum paper, Holiday Knit Background from kraft card stock. I mounted all elements as shown in the picture onto kraft card base using double-sided & foam tape. I added several PPP clear snowflake & 3mm cup sequins and enamel white dots using Tonic Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Christmas jingle bells make me feel very warm and cozy, aren’t they?!!

SSS Wednesday Challenge Week 1: Think Pink

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
I’m so happy (and honoured) to be a guest designer over at Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Challenge for the month of October!! This week the challenge is “Think Pink(breast Cancer awareness).”

For this week, I made adorable pink gift bag instead of card. It is really quick and easy to make! I die cut two larger pieces from Cotton Candy card stock using the Pink and Main Gift Bag dies first. I folded on the score lines and used the Stitched Circle die to cut out the centre of the front where I placed acetate sheet – you can change the shape of the centre with any shaped dies what you have. :D
I added awareness ribbon, tiny flower, tiny bow to the front of the bag.
This bag is filled with fruit chews.

Pretty Pink Posh STAMPtember® Collaboration

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I’m sharing a couple of my cards using the latest STAMPtember® Collaboration by Pretty Pink Posh called Topiary.

I started by die cutting the 4″ x 5.25″ Wonky Rectangle Panel from watercolour paper. I then heat embossed two of topiary trees in white onto the panel. I used a blender brush and rubbed on some green coloured Distress inks over just the topiary trees, and then added water to make a watercolour painting effect using a wet paint brush.
Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on kraft card base using double-sided tape first, and then added opaque white ink splatters, citrus mix jewels and clear snowflake sequins. For the sentiment, I used the CZ Design Joyful die set.

Here is another card with the STAMPtember® Topiary stamp set. I just stamped all adorable tree images with the shades of green – Jellybean, Green Apple, Evergreen, Mint Candy, Green Leaf and Scuba dye inks.
Make sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for other fabulous inspiration using this adorable STAMPtember® Topiary Set.
