MFT February Card Kit – Beautiful Butterflies Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to MFT February Beautiful Butterflies Card Kit Countdown Day 2.

yoonsunhur-mft-febcardkit-day2-001For today’s card, I made monochromatic butterflies using Versamark embossing ink & black embossing powder in the kit. I stamped solid images from the Beautiful Butterflies set on white paper panel using Gravel Gray hybrid ink. Once the panel was dry, I stamped other details with Versamark embossing ink, then heat embossed with black embossing powder. Next, I die cut rectangle frame from black card stock using the Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames Die-namics. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the You Give Me Butterflies set on the Wild Cherry card stock in white, then die cut it with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics. After mounting all elements on an A2 sized white card base, I embellished with a few PPP 3mm clear sequins.

Card Stock: Cotton Candy, Field Day, Lemon Chiffon, Orange Fizz, Ripe Raspberry, Sour Apple, Spearmint, Smooth White (5 sheets)
2 Sheets Translucent Vellum
Versamark Cube
Black Embossing Powder

New Mid Month Free with $60 Die-namics is the Sentiment Label Strip Die-namics.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-mft-febcardkit-day1-001To start, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 2) Stamped the butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies set randomly onto the watercolour paper panel using hybrid inks:
Red: Coral Crush (Base), Red Hot (Accents), Paver Red (Antennae)
Yellow: Pineapple, Latte, Chocolate Brown
Green: Sour Apple, Gumdrop Green, Green-Eyed Monster
Blue: Summer Splash, Blue Yonder, Lush Lagoon
Violet: Wild Wisteria, Grape Jelly, Razzle Berry
3) Watercoloured the background with Peerless watercolors and a wet paint brush. 4) Added some ink splatters (colours and opaque white). 5) Stamped the sentiment from the You Give Me Butterflies set on the bottom right corner in Black Licorice hybrid ink. 6) Mounted the panel on the Primitive White card base using foam tape.

MFT WSC 320

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
Today I want to share with you my card for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 320.

Here is my take on the Sketch 320:
yoonsunhur-20170215-mftwsc320-001For today’s card, I created the flower patterned bandages (shhhhh! please don’t tell anyone.. I still love using Hello Kitty bandages :D). I 1) Die cut 5 bandages from white card stock using the Band-Aids Die-namics. 2) Stamped flowers and leaves from the Pretty Posies set on each bandage die cut using Black Licorice hybrid ink, then coloured them with Copic markers. 3) Stamped the sentiment from the Deepest Sympathy set on an A2 sized white paper panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink, medicine bottles & other images from the Feel Better set in Gravel Gray hybrid ink. 4) Mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all bandages using foam tape. 5) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT February Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
NewProductLaunchToday I will be sharing with you my watercolour flower card with the Sketched Blooms 2 Stamp Set.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-npl-001I started by stamping beautiful flowers and leaves from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on A2 watercolour paper panel with lots of hybrid inks (all product links are at the end of this post). I then freely watercoloured on the stamped images with Peerless watercolors and a wet paint brush. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Friends Furever set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then trimmed it with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using foam tape.

MFT February Release Countdown – Day 1

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown and all of the new products will be available at 9 pm ET today in the MFT store.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day1My card today features the Boss Babe Stamp Set. This set contains 13 fun and cheerful sentiments – simply gorgeous!!
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day1-001I started by creating my own patterned background with the Boss Babe stamp set. I repeatedly stamped the sentiment on an A2 sized white paper panel in Gravel Gray hybrid ink, then stamped the same sentiment on the bottom part of the panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink. Next, I stamped two adorable bunnies and instruments from the Strike up the Band set on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the Strike up the Band Die-namics. I mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all images using foam tape.
