Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Welcome to the Altenew July Product Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from so amazing Lydia Evans!!

Today I want to share a couple of watercolour cards that I’ve made using the Celebrations stamp set.
For my first card, I used the masking stamping technique to make stacks of rainbow macaroons!! I stamped the macaroons from the Celebrations set on watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, and then watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner on the card front using dimensional foam tape.
For my second card, I used the rose image from the Celebrations stamp set. I simply stamped the rose along with the sentiment on watercolour paper panel in black pigment ink, then coloured the roses with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I added black ink splatters. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on kraft card base using dimensional foam tape.
Your next stop on the hop is super talented Yana!! We hope you have all enjoyed our fun and inspirational blog hop!

The topic of her hop is “Celebrating Kindness” because she wants to give back to everyone who has been so supportive over the past few years, so it’s really about celebrating all the awesome people in our community who are so generous with taking the time to comment, encourage, send cards and just be wonderful – I totally respect and admire her opinions!!
For my card today, I made a watercolour flower card with the MFT Grand Peaceful Wildflowers stamp set – Watercolour is definitely my most favourite painting medium!! I heat embossed the flowers from the set on cold press watercolour paper panel in white, then loosely coloured around the flowers with Distress inks using a wet paint brush. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the MFT Delicate Pretty Poppies set on black card stock in white, then cut the small banner. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using dimensional foam tape.
The sponsors have been extremely generous, and this is the list of prizes which Julia will be giving away:
