Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things September Release Countdown Day 2.
Today I am featuring one of my favourite die sets called Tea Party!
To start, I die cut teapot from watercolour paper using the Tea Party Die-namics, then stamped flowers and leaves from the Bold Blooms set on the tea pot die cut using hybrid inks: (Red) Red Hot & Paver Red / (Yellow) Pineapple & Latte / (Green) Sour Apple & Green-Eyed Monster. I die cut teapot top from the Wild Cherry card stock, butterfly from white card stock using the Flutter of Butterflies Lace Die-namics. For the floral background, I heat embossed flowers and leaves from the Bold Blooms set on watercolour paper panel in clear, then ink blended on it with Tattered Rose, Wild Honey, Victorian Velvet Distress inks using mini ink blending tool, and then trimmed the bottom of the panel using the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics. I mounted all elements as shown to the Primitive White card base using foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the Cup of Tea stamp set.
Here is another card with the Tea Party Die-namics. I couldn’t stop playing with it. Oh, I love this floral teapot & cups!!

For my first card, I made my own floral background with 
To start, I die cut the stitched flowers and leaves from watercolour paper using 
I trimmed the edges of the panel, then ink blended on it with Distress inks using mini ink blending tool – I used Festive Berries, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, and Seedless Preserves Distress inks. After doing some ink bleding, I spritzed with perfect pearls mist, added some white ink splatters all over the panel – I wanted to add a bit of shine and sparkle to my card.
Once the panel was completely dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape, and then lifted each petal using my fingertips for beautiful 3D effects!

To start, I made the floral background with the 
For the sentiment panel, I die cut the word ‘Hugs’ from white card stock using the 
I used washi tape to secure the word die in place and then run it through die cutting machine.
I then inserted the word die cut into the spaces in the top edge of the die-cut panel using double-sided tape.
Lastly, I mounted the floral background on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment panel on the bottom of the card using foam tape. The word ‘Hugs’ and pretty flowers are so gorgeous together!!
