Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-20170123-mft-jancardkit-day1-001I started by stamping the flower clusters from the Fancy Flowers set in the December Fancy Flowers card kit on Smooth White card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, then coloured them with Copic markers – I used Post-It Notes to mask stamped images. Next, I die cut the large keyhole from the centre of the Primitive White stitched rectangle panel using the Lock & Key Die-namics in the kit. I die cut the heart key from the Cherry Crisp card stock, then added a Wink of Stella Clear. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the No Place Like Home set on the bottom of the front panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink. Lastly I mounted all elements as shown to the Cherry Crisp card base using foam tape.
yoonsunhur-20170123-mft-jancardkit-day1-002The large keyhole & heart key set is so awesome, isn’t it?!

altenew-marker-bloghop-bannerIt’s very fun to use a new colouring medium and the new Altenew alcohol ink based markers are truly fantastic! Perhaps I would put my copic markers aside, lol!
altenew-marker-infoMarkers Description: Altenew Artist Markers are alcohol-based, allowing you to beautifully blend colors to any stamped images. Our various range of stamps is perfect for these markers. You can also easily pair them with our Crisp Dye Inks to take your coloring to the next level! Altenew Stamp Focus: Bold Blossom

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
I’m up on the Altenew blog today with my flower cards using the newly released Bold Blossom stamp set.
bold-blossom
yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-a001For my first card, I created a tone-on-tone floral pattern on the SSS Lipstick Red card base in Altenew Ruby Red dye ink. Next I stamped the layered flower and leaves from the Bold Blossom set on white card stock using some Altenew dye inks:
Flower: Frosty Pink (the base layer), Coral Berry, Ruby Red (the darkest parts)
Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen.
And then I fussy cut them out. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Sentiments & Quotes set on black card stock in white, cut the sentiment using scissors. I decorated the bottom of the card with the Altenew Gold Glitter Tape.
yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-a002
yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-b001For my second card, I repeatedly stamped the flowers & leaves on the Altenew Spicy Yogurt card base in blues and greens – I used a MISTI to get exact placement of my stamped layers! I used Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Lagoon dye inks for the green flowers and Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk for the blue flowers. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Floral Sprig set in Jet Black dye ink.
yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-b002Altenew layered flower stamps are becoming more and more realistic!!

yoonsunhur-20161017-altenew-c001For my last card, I heat embossed them on kraft card base in white. And I die cut the word “Thank you” from white card stock using the word dies in the Majestic Bloom die set.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
