MFT April Release Replay

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the My Favorite Things April Release Replay Challenge!
Today our team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present. We can’t wait to share our ideas with you!

Here is what I came up with:
My card today features the new Springtime Blooms Stamp SetUp in the Air Stamp Set & Die-namics along with other MFT products. I started by stamping flowers from the Springtime Blooms set on A2 watercolour paper panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink – I used Post-It Notes for masking flowers. I coloured them with Copic markers. Next, I stamped puppy (so cute!!) from the Up in the Air set in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Copic markers as well, and then die cut it with the Up in the Air Die-namics. I die cut tea cup from watercolour paper using the Tea Party Die-namics, then watercoloured it with Fired Brick Distress ink.
For the sentiment, I used the Springtime Blooms stamp set. Lastly, I mounted the flower panel on A2 white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements using foam tape.
Make sure to head over to the MFT blog today for more great projects from the design team for this months challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

SSS He is RISEN!

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Easter is just around the corner!! So today I want to share with you my Easter card with the Simon Says Stamp More Spring Flowers and Happy Easter stamp sets along with other SSS products.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping flowers and leaves from the More Spring Flowers set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in Antique Linen Distress ink, then coloured them with Distress markers – I used no-line watercolouring technique. I coloured the background of the panel using Pumice Stone Distress ink. Next, I die cut the Cross from watercolour paper using the Crosses die set, stamped the sentiment from the Happy Easter set with VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink, then roughly coloured the Cross with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress inks. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted it on A2 white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the Cross using Foam tape.
He is RISEN! Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (1 Corinthians 15:20)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Altenew Card Kit/Layering Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Altenew Card Kit/Layering Dies Release Blog Hop!
Altenew New Day Card Kit
Thirty four cardstock die cuts
Six 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock (Made in UK)
Forty eight 6×6 inch pattern paper sheets (two of each design)
Two alphabet sticker sheets
12 wood veneer frames
6×8 inch photopolymer clear stamp set (Made in USA)
One gold glitter tape
Frame die, hearts and stars die
Enamel dots and hearts (4×6 inch sheet)

To create the first card, I simply stamped the flower and butterfly from the Floral Garden set in the card kit on white paper panel with several dye inks: (Petal) Coral Berry, Ruby Red / (Leaves) Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen / (Butterfly) Sunkissed, Autumn Blaze. I then stamped the sentiment in Jet Black dye ink. I decorated the stamped panel with gold glitter tape in the kit and natural twine. For the card base, I used one of the pattern papers in the card kit.

For my second card, I wanted to create a clean and simple card using the new Layered Floral Cover Die A and B (This set is One and Only!!). I die cut the Layered Floral Cover Die A and B from blue shades of card stock, then adhered two layers onto Spicy Yogurt card base using foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the word “Thank you” in the Majestic Bloom die set. I embellished with some enamel dots in the card kit.

Here is one more card with the new card kit! Those flower stamp, elegant frame die, sentiment banner, and beautiful watercoloured pattern paper.. I am so in love with the New Day Card Kit!!

MFT April Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
Today I will be sharing with you my flower card with the Springtime Blooms Stamp Set and Die-namics along with other brand new products.

To start, I die cut all flowers from masking paper (adhesive backed paper) using the Springtime Blooms Die-namics. I then adhered the mask die cuts to A2 sized white paper panel in place.
I blended on the masked panel with Antique Linen, Tea Dye Distress inks and mini ink blending tool. I then removed the masks.
Next, I stamped the flowers from the Springtime Blooms set on the ink blended panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then coloured them with Copic markers. For the sentiment, I die cut the sentiment place with the Stitched Oval Word Windows Die-namics, adhered the stamped sentiment behind it using foam tape, then framed the sentiment area with the Oval Word Window Frames Die-namics.
