MFT April Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
Today I will be sharing with you my flower card with the Springtime Blooms Stamp Set and Die-namics along with other brand new products.

To start, I die cut all flowers from masking paper (adhesive backed paper) using the Springtime Blooms Die-namics. I then adhered the mask die cuts to A2 sized white paper panel in place.
I blended on the masked panel with Antique Linen, Tea Dye Distress inks and mini ink blending tool. I then removed the masks.
Next, I stamped the flowers from the Springtime Blooms set on the ink blended panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then coloured them with Copic markers. For the sentiment, I die cut the sentiment place with the Stitched Oval Word Windows Die-namics, adhered the stamped sentiment behind it using foam tape, then framed the sentiment area with the Oval Word Window Frames Die-namics.
Don’t forget to check out the MFT blog to see all of the amazing projects the creative team has created. You can leave a comment on all of the designer’s New Product Launch posts for a chance to WIN one of two $100 gift vouchers!

MFT April Release Countdown – Day 1

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown and all of the new products will be available at 9 pm ET today in the MFT store.

My card today features the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set & Die-namics, You Give Me Butterflies Stamp Set along with other MFT products.
I started by stamping the layered butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies set on white card stock using hybrid inks: (Base) Natural, (Head and body) Chocolate Brown, (Shading) Kraft. I then die cut it with the Beautiful Butterflies Die-namics. Next, I made leaf wreath background with the Spring Wreath stamp set. I stamped the wreath on white card stock with Sour Apple and Limeade hybrid inks, and then lightly coloured around the wreath with Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough Distress inks. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it out with the scallop panel in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics.
For the small flowers, I stamped them from the Spring Wreath set with Red Hot and Pineapple hybrid inks, and then die cut them with the matching dies. For the sentiment, I used the You Give Me Butterflies stamp set. Lastly, I mounted all elements on Pineapple card base using foam tape.

Make sure to check out MFT Blog for all the info for today along with links to all the other DT member’s blog posts.

See you TONIGHT for the release!

The Stamp Market – From Me To You

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
I am SO excited and happy to be a guest designer for The Stamp Market! I love their fresh and unique style so much!! Today I want to share with you my couple of floral cards with so gorgeous Kindness Noted Stamp Set and Papillon Stamp & Cut Bundle.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping flowers from the Kindness Noted set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I then lightly coloured them with Distress inks and water brush – I used Festive Berries, Scattered Straw, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, and Pumice Stone. Next, I stamped and die cut the butterfly from the Papillon Stamp & Cut Bundle. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Kindness Noted set on black card stock in white. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the butterfly die cut and the sentiment banner using foam tape.

Here is another card that I used the same way as the first card but using different colours.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Altenew Stencils & Ink Sprays Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Altenew Stencils & Ink Sprays Release Blog Hop!
We are releasing 7 stencils, 12 ink sprays, 13 coloured cardstock and 7 envelopes – I love the new shimmer ink sprays in particular!!

I think you can guess what I did the first time with those shimmer ink sprays. Oh yes! I tried to do watercolouring!! To start, I laid the Floral Drape stencil on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel, traced flowers and leaves very lightly with a pencil. I then coloured them with the new shimmer ink sprays: (Flowers) Ruby Red, Coral Berry, Frosty Pink, Warm Sunshine (Leaves) Forest Glades, Frayed Leaf, Ocean Waves, Sea Glass (Small dots) Lavender Fields. For the sentiment, I used the Adore You stamp set.
Altenew ink sprays are shimmery but bright and vibrant as well. The colours blend smoothly together!!

For my second card, I used the new Layered Medallion A and B stencils as my main supply. I laid the Layered Medallion A stencil on watercolour paper, and then inked with Coral Berry, Frosty Pink dye inks. Next, I laid the Layered Medallion B stencil on the inked panel in place, then inked with Ruby Red dye ink. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it down using stitched rectangle panel die. I mounted the panel on the new Apple Red card base using foam tape, and then lightly coloured on the centre of the patterned background with the Frosty Pink shimmer ink. For the sentiment, I used the word “Thank you” in the Majestic Bloom die set.
The pattern is.. well, how do I explain.. very deep and mysterious looking. It looks like Magic Eye pictures, don’t you think? :D
