SSS Happy Mother’s Day

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Mother’s day is coming soon so I want to share with you today my mother’s day card using some SSS floral dies!!
For today’s card, I used the Forget Me Not Flowers (left) & Friends Of Life (right) die sets.

Here is what I came up with:
For this cluster of flowers, I used some beautiful SSS coloured card stock. To create the card, I 1) Die cut the wreath from Dark Chocolate card stock using the Chisholm Wreath die. 2) Die cut flowers and leaves from several coloured card stock using the Forget Me Not Flowers & Friends Of Life die sets: (Flowers) Doll Pink, Lipstick Red, Cotton Candy, Sunshine, Lemon Chiffon (Leaves) Mint, Green Apple, Green Leaf. 3) Adhered the wreath die cut to the centre of the A2 top-folded Ivory card base using fine tip glue pen. 4) Stamped the sentiment “Happy mother’s day” from the Mom and Dad Icons set inside the wreath using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. 5) Adhered the flower cluster under the sentiment using foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few enamel dots.
I cannot imagine a life without my mother!!

SSS With Best Friends

Hello crafty friends!
Today I am just popping in to share with you my (kind of) one layer flower card with the SSS Friends Of Life stamp set.

Here is what I came up with:
To start, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using 3.75″ x 5″ rectangle panel die in the Basic Rectangles die set. I then stamped flowers and leaves from the Friends Of Life set on the bottom right corner of the panel using SSS hybrid inks (Supply links are at the bottom of the post). I lightly coloured around stamped images with Antique Linen Distress ink, and then stamped the sentiment from the Friends Of Life set on the panel in VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on top-folded kraft card base using foam tape.

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Mustard Seed Faith Challenge #3

Hello crafty friends, happy Easter!!
I’m SO happy (and so honoured) to be a part of the Mustard Seed Faith Challenge team from this month!
This is a brand new challenge blog for everybody, those with great talents and those with little, those with faith in Jesus, those who are curious about Christianity and those who…just like a good challenge and the key verse, the reason for this blog stems from Matthew 17:20 “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed…nothing will be impossible for you.”

This week’s challenge is to make something related to “Traveling Mercies“.
I started by stamping flowers and leaves from the SSS More Spring Flowers set on an A2 sized white paper panel in MFT Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then coloured them with Alcohol based markers (Altenew and Copic markers). I then used hot-air balloon die cut to express “Traveling Mercies”.
Please visit our challenge blog, Mustard Seed Faith Challenges for more inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous Easter weekend!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

SSS Floral Easter Cards

Hello crafty friends, happy Easter weekend!!
Today I want to share with you my couple of floral Easter cards with the Suzy’s In Full Bloom Watercolor Paintable Prints.

Here is what I came up with:
To create the card, I watercoloured the image with Peerless watercolors and a wet paint brush. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it out using the Stitches Rectangle panel die, and then mounted it on top-folded Lipstick Red card base using double-sided tape. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the Uplifting Thoughts set on black card stock in white, fussy cut it, then added it on the card front using foam tape.
It’s so easy to make with the Suzy’s In Full Bloom Watercolor Paintable Prints!!

My second card is pretty much the same as the first. I watercoloured the flower image with Peerless watercolors. Once it was dry, I fussy cut it, and then stamped the sentiment (from the Happy Easter stamp set) on the yellow flower in VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I mounted it on Lipstick Red card base using foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets & sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy Easter, everyone!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
