Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Today I want to share with you my watercoloured floral frame cards with SSS Sunflower Frame & Carnation Frame dies. Making watercolour flower card is always, yes! always, so fun. I simply LOVE to watercolour flowers!!
My first card, I used the Sunflower Frame die along with the Pebbles die.
My second card, I used the Carnation Frame die along with the Pebbles die.
I die cut floral frames from watercolour paper first, and then coloured them with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens.
1. Sunflower Frame (left):
Petals: Mango Mimosa / Cinnamon Stick
The dark centre: (light to dark) Cinnamon Stick / Yellow Ochre / Caramel Pecan
Stem & leaves: Caramel Pecan / Sliced Kiwi / Aqua Splash / Indigo Batik
2. Carnation Frame (right):
Petals: Red Apple / French Wine
Leaves: Sliced Kiwi / Aqua Splash / Indigo Batik
I die cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ rectangle panel from Cream card stock using the Basic Rectangle die first, and then cut the Pebbles from the panel. I then laid the pebble background panel on white card base in place, inked with three shades of brown using Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brush. I used pebbles die cut panel as a stencil.

I adhered watercoloured sunflower frame on the bottom left corner of the card using foam tape, and then added white heat embossed sentiment banner. I also added a few droplets using Nuvo Limoncello Jewel & Morning Dew Crystal drops.

I mounted the inked pebbles die cut panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added watercoloured carnation frame & sentiment banner using foam tape.
