MFT July Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4My cards today I am featuring the Happy Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics, Beary Special Birthday stamp set & Die-namics, and Pop-Up Elements Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-DAY4-A001For my first card, I used the Happy Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics as my main supply. This die is quite large so we can quickly and easily make a gorgeous birthday card with it!! I die cut a piece of heavy white card stock using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics first. I then die cut the Happy Birthday Centerpieces from the panel. Next, I positioned the Big Balloons Stencil over the die cut panel in place, and then inked balloons with soft pastel colours of hybrid ink using sponge daubers: Pink Lemonade(pink), Banana Split(yellow), Sno Cone(blue), Peach Bellini(coral), Spearmint(green), and Wild Wisteria(purple). I mounted the panel on an A2 sized Kraft card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with stars.

YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-DAY4-B001For my second card, I used the Beary Special Birthday stamp set & Die-namics, and Pop-Up Elements Die-namics. I just randomly stamped the images from the Beary Special Birthday set on an A2 sized white paper panel in Gravel Gray hybrid ink, then mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape. I added the Copic coloured small gift boxes & cone hat on the centre of the card front using dimensional foam tape. On the front of the card is so simple because there are something fun inside the card :D
YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-DAY4-B002Ta-da! SURPRISE!! I prepared a base for the pop up card using the Pop-Up Elements Narrow Die-namics and added Copic coloured birthday bears using double-sided tape, then stamped the sentiments from the Beary Special Birthday set on the card base in Black Licorice hybrid ink. I’ve never done a pop up card before but I think my first attempt was successful. It was SUPER fun to make it!

MFT_WSC_287
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160629-MFTWSC287-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the Bundles of Blossoms Background on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in Latte hybrid ink. 2) Ink blended on the bottom half of the stamped panel with Tattered Rose Distress ink using mini ink blending tool. 3) Die cut stitched fishtail frame from the panel using the Stitched Fishtail Frames Die-namics, then inlaid it in the stamped panel. 4) Watercoloured on the fishtail frame part of the panel with Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks using waterbrush. 5) Stamped the girl from the Beautiful Girl set on a separate watercolour paper in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Copic markers, and then die cut it with the Beautiful Girl Die-namics. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

Clearly Besotted – You’re sweet!

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I want to share with you a cute card with the Clearly Besotted Sweet Treats stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160625-CBesotted-001CBesotted-SweetTreatsI love these cute critters so I decided to use all of them in my card. First, I 1) Die cut a piece of heavy white card stock using the scallop panel in the MFT Blueprints 27 Die-namics. 2) Stamped the cute images from the Sweet Treats set on the centre of the panel in Memento Desert Sand dye ink – I used Mini MISTI stamping tool. 3) Coloured them with Copic sketch markers – I did no line copic colouring technique. 4) Marked eyes, nose, mouth, fingers, and toes of each critters using Black Copic Multiliner. 4) Stamped the sentiments on a separate white card stock in black ink, then fussy cut them as small rectangle banners instead of speech bubbles. 5) Mounted the coloured panel on an A2 sized SSS Sunshine card base using dimensional foam tape first, and then added the sentiment banners on top of the card using foam tape as well.
YoonsunHur-20160625-CBesotted-002That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous weekend!!
