Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew Love & Friendship Release Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Tina Smith’s blog you are on the right track!
For my first card, I am featuring the new Queen Anemone along with other Altenew goodies – as everyone knows, Altenew is the best for layering flower stamps!
I started by dry embossing on A2 sized white cardstock using the new Organic Linen 3D Embossing Folder. I then die cut the Leafy Wreath from white cardstock twice, inked one of the Leafy Wreath die cuts with Crushed Olive Distress ink. I added green ink splatters.
For beautiful flowers, I stamped layering anemones with Red Sunset dye ink set. I used Blush for base, Rouge for second layer and Crimson for outline layer. For leaves, I used Green Fields dye ink set.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Thank you” from metallic gold cardstock using the Flower Arrangement die set.
For my second cards, I used the Fresh Cut Roses stamp set along with the Watercolor 36 pan set.
I stamped flower images from the Fresh Cut Roses set onto watercolour paper panel using Rocky Shore dye ink. I then coloured the stamped images using Watercolor 36 pan set:
(Roses) mixed with Cotton Candy and Coral Berry and little bit of Paper Bag
(Leaves) mixed with Frayed Leaf and Espresso and Bamboo.

I heat embossed the flower in white first, and then watercoloured it – I used Crimson for petals, Forest Glades & Bamboo for leaves. Red flower and dotted washi tape are the best combination of Altenew floral cards. :D

To be brief, I die cut large sized alphabets from printer paper using the Altenew Mega Alphabet dies first, then placed them on diagonal stitched rectangled watercolour paper panel in place – fixed them firmly using washi tape. I blended them with Distress inks, and then stamped tiny flowers & leaves with pigment black ink.
I used Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge and Festive Berries Distress inks for blending.
I used Crushed Olive, Mermaid Lagoon and Faded Jeans.
I used Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Seedless Preserves.
For the sentiment, I used the Pinkfresh Studio Hey Gorgeous die & the Simon Says Stamp SSS Sentiment Strips All Things Happy.

Just like the title of the blog hop, watercolouring is certainly one of the great ways to heal my mind! It’s a remedy that gives joy to my tired mind. I’m sure you agree with me. :D Today I want to share my watercoloured “Thank You” card using the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers along with the Forever and Always set.
Rose petals:
I stamped a bouquet of roses from the
I then took the colour out using tissue. Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers are vivid and strong. The colours themselves are beautiful but if we take the colour out a bit, it gives off a vintage look.
I arranged all watercoloured roses onto 3.25 x 4.5″ rectangle panel – adhered roses temporarily on white panel using washi tapes, and then trimmed them. I didn’t use white paper panel.
I traced a 3.25 x 4.5″ rectangle on the centre of kraft card base with a pencil, and then added all trimmed images using foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the word “Thank you” in the
