Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello, hello crafty friends, welcome to the Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Jeanne streiff blog.
(This is my second post of the day, for the MFT WSC 287, click HERE.)
Altenew_MySweetPetunia_CollaborationI am sharing with you my flower card with the Altenew, one of my favourites, Vintage Roses layered stamp set. I think MISTI is perfect stamping tool for getting a nice crisp image with multi step stamps!!
YoonsunHur-20160629-Altenew-001To create the card, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using an A2 sized stitched rectangle panel die first, and then ink blended on it with Antique Linen Distress ink using mini blending tool. Once the panel was dry, I die cut the centre of the inked panel using stitched circle die to use sentiment panel.
Altenew-20160629-mistiNext, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Vintage Roses set on the inked panel with several colours of Altenew dye ink:
Flowers: (from lighter to darker) RougeVelvet, and Jet Black
Leaves: Forest Glades, Evergreen, and Jet Black
For the sentiment, I used the Oriental Orchid stamp set.

Altenew – Golden Garden

Hello crafty friends, happy Sunday!
I’m on Altenew’s blog today with my watercoloured flower card using so beautiful Golden Garden stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160619-Altenew-001To create the card, I 1) Stamped the flowers from the Golden Garden set at the top half of watercolour paper panel using VersaMark embossing ink, then heat embossed in white. 2) Watercoloured them with soft colours of Distress inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick, and Cracked Pistachio. 3) Added some white ink splatters for a more subtle look. 4) Stamped the sentiment & butterfly from the Painted Butterflies set on the panel using Jet Black dye ink. 5) Mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape.
YoonsunHur-20160619-Altenew-002The Golden Garden is definitely my all-time favorite set :D

Altenew – Beautiful Day

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Today I want to share with you my floral wreath card using the Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160610-Altenew-002For my card today, I used no-line watercoloring technique. First, I stamped the sentiment from the Oriental Orchid set on white card stock using VersaFine Onyx Black and then trimmed it with circle die. I positioned the sentiment panel at the centre of watercolour panel, then traced a circle on it very lightly with a pencil. Next, I stamped the outlined flowers and leaves from the Beautiful Day set around the circle using Antique Linen Distress ink – I created my own floral wreath. Then, I watercoloured them with Distress markers:
Red & Orange flowers: Festive Berries, Barn Door, Fired Brick, Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin
Yellow flowers: Fossilized Amber
Leaves: Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers
Stem: Vintage Photo
Once dry the coloured panel, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then layered the vellum circle & sentiment circle die cuts using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Altenew – Watercolor Wonders

Hello crafty friends, blessed Sunday!
Today I want to share with you my flower cards using the Altenew Watercolor Wonders stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-BothYou may know how much I love flowers and the Altenew Watercolor Wonders is definitely one of my favourite among all kinds of flower stamps!!
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-A001For my first card, I made (a kind of) CAS card with the Watercolor Wonders set. I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp the layered flowers on white paper panel using several colours of Altenew dye ink:
Flowers: Coral Berry to Ruby Red, Grapevine and Warm Sunshine to accent
Leaves: Forest Glades to Evergreen
I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Day set on it with the Altenew Jet Black dye ink.
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-A002I mounted the panel on A2 kraft card base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-A003
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-B001For my second card, I made a watercolour flower card with the set. I stamped – I used the second generation stamping technique – the flowers and leaves on watercolour paper panel with Distress inks, then brushed them with a bit of water using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush:
Pink flower: Tattered RoseWorn Lipstick
Yellow flower: Mustard SeedWild Honey
Small flower: Worn Lipstick
Leaves: Cracked Pistachio & Mowed Lawn
Once dry, I added some sparkle using Zig Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Clear and red ink splatters.
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-B002For the sentiment, I stamped the “Happy Anniversary” from the Vintage Roses set in VersaFine Onyx Black. Lastly I mounted it on A2 white card base using double-sided tape and then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-B003Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous weekend!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Altenew – Best Dad

Hello crafty friends! I’m up on the Altenew blog sharing three ways to use the Best Dad stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160506-AltenewSF-A001My first card is a watercolour card. I love making my own watercolour background with stamps!! First, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using SSS Stitches Rectangles die. I then randomly stamped the images from Best Dad set on it using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I coloured the rest areas with Tattered Rose Distress ink using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush.
YoonsunHur-20160506-AltenewSF-A002
YoonsunHur-20160506-AltenewSF-B001For my second card, I stamped the images on A2 sized white paper panel using Altenew Dark Chocolate dye ink, then added some shading with a Copic marker E53.
YoonsunHur-20160506-AltenewSF-B002
YoonsunHur-20160506-AltenewSF-C001My last card is a simple shaker card! How can we forget about shaker card for Father’s Day?!! :D First, I randomly stamped the images on A2 white paper panel with Altenew Evening Gray dye ink. I then cut a square frame from the centre of the stamped panel for the shaker front, back it with acetate sheet, then added the blue, green, and yellow colours of the new PPP 4mm sequins. I stamped the book on a separate watercolour paper using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, watercoloured it, then cut it out. I mounted all elements as shown to white card base using dimensional foam tape.
