Hello crafty friends! I’m up on the Altenew blog sharing three ways to use the Best Dad stamp set.
My first card is a watercolour card. I love making my own watercolour background with stamps!! First, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using SSS Stitches Rectangles die. I then randomly stamped the images from Best Dad set on it using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. I coloured the rest areas with Tattered Rose Distress ink using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush.
For my second card, I stamped the images on A2 sized white paper panel using Altenew Dark Chocolate dye ink, then added some shading with a Copic marker E53.
My last card is a simple shaker card! How can we forget about shaker card for Father’s Day?!! :D First, I randomly stamped the images on A2 white paper panel with Altenew Evening Gray dye ink. I then cut a square frame from the centre of the stamped panel for the shaker front, back it with acetate sheet, then added the blue, green, and yellow colours of the new PPP 4mm sequins. I stamped the book on a separate watercolour paper using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black, watercoloured it, then cut it out. I mounted all elements as shown to white card base using dimensional foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
