Flora Fauna CAS Cards

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I’ve made using the Flora & Fauna You Me and Tea and Texture stamp sets.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by creating a brush stroke background with the Texture stamp set. I repeatedly stamped one brush stroke image on an A2 sized white card stock using some warm coloured dye inks: (from top to bottom) SSS Lemon Zing, SSS Clementine, SSS Rosie Cheeks, Hero Arts Bubble Gum, SSS Rose Apple. Once the panel was dry, I just stamped sentiment and other cute images from the You Me and Tea set on the brush stroke background in black pigment ink, and then mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape.
The sentiment is so sweet, isn’t it?

For my second card, I used the You Me and Tea stamp set as my main supply. I stamped “thank you” teapot and cute bird on the centre of the watercolour panel first, and then stamped flowers around teapot using black pigment ink. I then loosely coloured them with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel and water brush. Once the panel was dry, I stamped small dots from the Texture set using SSS Mint Candy & Velvet Orchid hybrid inks.
To add some dimension to the card, I stamped, coloured, fussy cut “thank you” teapot and bird, then adhered them using foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Allow to dry completely. 4) Mounted the watercolored panel on Apple Red card base using glue tape first, and then added “A” alpha die cut using foam tape.
“Faithful” card: 1) Stamped the letter “F” from the Layered Letters AFG set on white card stock with Jet Black & Ocean Waves dye inks, then die cut it with the matching die. 2) Stamped the sentiment on watercolor panel in Jet Black dye ink. 3) Stamped and watercolored feathers & others from the Happy Dreams set. Allow to dry completely. 4) Mounted the watercolored panel on Aqua blue card base using glue tape first, and then added “F” alpha die cut using foam tape.
“Generous” card: 1) Stamped the letter “G” from the Layered Letters AFG set on white card stock with Jet Black & Forest Glades dye inks, then die cut it with the matching die. 2) Stamped the sentiment on watercolor panel in Jet Black dye ink. 3) Stamped and watercolored peonies from the Adore You set. Winnie & Walter Leading Lady Take Four + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
I’m back with my last post for Winnie & Walter as their Leading Lady this month. Big thanks for talking with me today!
Today I want to share with you my simple (white on kraft) wedding card using the Bed of Roses Stamp Set and the Cary Numbers Cutaways.
I started by heat embossing rose images from the Bed of Roses set on kraft card stock in white. I then trimmed it down with the Lana Cutaways. I then partially coloured the stamped image with white polychromos pencil.
I die cut “&” from white card stock using the Cary Numbers Cutaways five times, and then stacked them up using fine tip glue pen – I made it thicker like chipboard. Lastly, I mounted the rose background panel on an A2 sized top-folded kraft card base using foam tape first, added white ampersand die cut using fine tip glue pen, and then stamped the “you + me” sentiment (from the Sentimental: Love set) in black pigment ink.

Shay has generously donated a $30 gift card for me to give away! To be in with a chance of winning, just leave a comment on my Winnie & Walter Leading Lady posts (every Saturday in May). I’ll announce one lucky winner at the end of the month! Take One HERE, Take Two HERE, Take Three HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

SSS Cherished Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Cherished Release Blog Hop!! If you arrived here from Nina Marie Trapani’s blog you are on the right track!

Today I will be sharing with you my summer themed cards using brand new Summer Flowers Stamp Set, Circular Lace Stencil, and Wonky Rectangles Die Set.
As you can guess, my first card is watercolour flower card! :D I randomly stamped flowers and leaves from the Summer Flowers set on watercolour paper using VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink, and then trimmed it down with the Wonky Rectangle panel die. I coloured them with Peerless watercolors and water brush. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Delightful” from metal gold card stock five times, stacked them up using fine tip glue pen. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized top-folded kraft card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment die cut using fine tip glue pen.

For my second card, I used the Circular Lace stencil as my main supply. I laid the stencil over watercolour panel, and then inked with some Distress inks: Abandoned Coral, Scattered Straw, Crushed Olive, Victorian Velvet, and Cracked Pistachio. Once the inked panel was dry, I distressed all edges of the panel using Tim Holtz Paper Distresser.
For the sentiment, I used the Believe word die and the Believe stamp set. Around the sentiment, I added some vellum butterflies (from the Butterfly Drift die).

My last card is sunflower card. I heat embossed sunflowers from the Summer Flowers set on kraft panel in white, and then coloured them with Faber Castell polychromos pencils. For the sentiment, I used the Oh Happy Day stamp set.
