SSS Let Us Rejoice

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Today I’m popping in to share with you my watercoloured Christmas cards using Simon Says Stamp Let Us Rejoice Stamp Set I designed.

Here is what I came up with:
I stamped a Christmas flower bouquet from the Let Us Rejoice set on watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I then coloured it with some Distress inks, watercolour pencils, and water brush.
For the sentiment, I stamped it with Walnut Stain Distress ink, and then added the same coloured ink splatters around the stamped images.

For my second card, I also stamped the flower image in black pigment ink, coloured it with Derwent Inktense coloured pencils, and then brushed it with a wet paint brush. I stamped the sentiment over the watercoloured image with VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I trimmed it down using the Stitches Rectangles panel die, and then mounted it on the Fog Gray card base using double-sided tape.
This is the day the LORD has made; let us REJOICE and be glad in it.

Flora & Fauna: Arctic Starry Night

Hello crafty friends! I want to share with you my Christmas cards today with so adorable Flora & Fauna Arctic Starry Night stamp set – it really caught my eye!

Here is what I came up with:
For my first card, I created a snowy night background with the Arctic Starry Night set. It is so lovely set!! I heat embossed (a kind of) constellations and trees onto watercolour paper panel in white first, and then coloured the background with Peerless watercolors. I added white ink splatters on it. Makes it look like snow or stars in the night sky.
I stamped & lightly watercoloured three polar bears, then fussy cut them. Once the background panel was completely dry, I mounted it on white card base using double sided tape first, and then added polar bears on it using foam tape.

For my second card, I made a simply watercolour card. I just repeatedly stamped trees on watercolour panel in black, and then roughly watercoloured each tree using Peerless watercolors.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
