Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Today I’m popping in to share with you my watercoloured Christmas cards using Simon Says Stamp Let Us Rejoice Stamp Set I designed.
Here is what I came up with:
I stamped a Christmas flower bouquet from the Let Us Rejoice set on watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I then coloured it with some Distress inks, watercolour pencils, and water brush.
For the sentiment, I stamped it with Walnut Stain Distress ink, and then added the same coloured ink splatters around the stamped images.
For my second card, I also stamped the flower image in black pigment ink, coloured it with Derwent Inktense coloured pencils, and then brushed it with a wet paint brush. I stamped the sentiment over the watercoloured image with VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I trimmed it down using the Stitches Rectangles panel die, and then mounted it on the Fog Gray card base using double-sided tape.
This is the day the LORD has made; let us REJOICE and be glad in it.

Great design for watercoloring. Nice coloring. Well done!
What a beautiful and meaningful stamp set. I can see it being used for many occasions.
Beautiful!!
Your cards are both so beautiful! The way you colored the first one makes the flowers look like pine cones – very cool.
What lovely cards Yoonsun – I love how you get such wonderful effects with your watercolouring.
Blessings
