YoonsunHur-201607-MFTRC-DAY5-A001For my first card, I used the Celebrate with Cake & Birthday Speech Bubbles stamp sets. First, I stamped the images, to make three-tier cake, from the Celebrate with Cake set on heavy white card stock using several colours of hybrid ink: Latte, Summer Splash, Sour Apple, Pineapple, Grape Jelly, and Red Hot. I then die cut them with the Celebrate with Cake Die-namics. Next, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the scallop rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics, and then stamped the speech bubbles from the Birthday Speech Bubbles set on it with Gravel Gray hybrid ink. I mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

SSS Fun tropical pineapple

Hello crafty friends!
Today I am sharing with you my fun tropical pineapple card with the new SSS Summertime Animals stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160630-SSS-001Have you ever seen any pink or blue pineapple in real life? Hmm, I haven’t seen but it’s possible to make in our creative imagination, don’t you think? :D
SSS-SummertimeAnimalsFor my card today, I used only the pineapple image in the Summertime Animals stamp set. First, I stamped the pineapples on watercolour paper using VersaFine Smokey Grey, watercoloured them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor, and then die cut them with the matching die. Next, I die cut a separate watercolour paper using the A2 sized rectangle die in the SSS Basic Rectangle die set. And then roughly watercoloured the background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor using a wet flat brush. Once the panel was dry, I mounted the watercoloured panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the pineapple die cuts on it using dimensional foam tape. Finally I mounted the sentiment banner on top of the card using foam tape, then added some Glossy Accents water droplets.
YoonsunHur-20160630-SSS-002That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Hello, hello crafty friends, welcome to the Altenew and MISTI Collaboration Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Jeanne streiff blog.
(This is my second post of the day, for the MFT WSC 287, click HERE.)
Altenew_MySweetPetunia_CollaborationI am sharing with you my flower card with the Altenew, one of my favourites, Vintage Roses layered stamp set. I think MISTI is perfect stamping tool for getting a nice crisp image with multi step stamps!!
YoonsunHur-20160629-Altenew-001To create the card, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using an A2 sized stitched rectangle panel die first, and then ink blended on it with Antique Linen Distress ink using mini blending tool. Once the panel was dry, I die cut the centre of the inked panel using stitched circle die to use sentiment panel.
Altenew-20160629-mistiNext, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Vintage Roses set on the inked panel with several colours of Altenew dye ink:
Flowers: (from lighter to darker) RougeVelvet, and Jet Black
Leaves: Forest Glades, Evergreen, and Jet Black

MFT WSC 287

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
I am sharing with you my card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 287.
MFT_WSC_287
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160629-MFTWSC287-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the Bundles of Blossoms Background on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in Latte hybrid ink. 2) Ink blended on the bottom half of the stamped panel with Tattered Rose Distress ink using mini ink blending tool. 3) Die cut stitched fishtail frame from the panel using the Stitched Fishtail Frames Die-namics, then inlaid it in the stamped panel. 4) Watercoloured on the fishtail frame part of the panel with Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks using waterbrush. 5) Stamped the girl from the Beautiful Girl set on a separate watercolour paper in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Copic markers, and then die cut it with the Beautiful Girl Die-namics. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.
