SSS Sunny and Bright Summer

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I’ve made using the SSS Summer themed products.
YoonsunHur-20160818-SSS-Both
YoonsunHur-20160818-SSS-A001For my first card, I made a fun shaker card with the Suzy’s Sizzling Series Water Color Paintable Prints. I 1) Heat embossed the Flamingos Background Stamp on watercolour paper panel in white, and then coloured the panel with Mustard Seed, Wild Honey Distress inks and a wet flat brush. 2) Watercoloured the pineapple wreath with Distress markers, and then fussy cut it. 3) Adhered the acetate sheet on the back of the pineapple wreath window, and then added assorted bright coloured sequins behind it. 4) Mounted the patterned panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-side tape first, and then added the shaker window, the word “Happy” die cut using foam tape.

YoonsunHur-20160818-SSS-B001Here is another happy card for you! I 1) Die cut the rainbow stripes from white card stock using the Build A Rainbow dies, and then coloured them with Copic markers: R29(red), YR14(orange), Y08(yellow), YG06(green), BG15(blue), V15(purple). 2) Stamped the bicycle, basket, and flowers from the Beautiful Ride set on a separate white card stock in MFT Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Copic markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies. 3) Stamped the sentiment from the same Beautiful Ride set on black card stock, heat embossed in white. 4) Mounted all elements as shown to the Ivory card base using foam tape. 5) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Clearly Besotted English Rose

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Today I want to share with you my flower card using the newly released Clearly Besotted English Rose stamp set.
CBesotted-EnglishRoseThe set is so beautiful! I think it will be one of my all time favourite stamp sets!!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160812-CBesotted-001I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp layered roses & leaves exactly where I want. I stamped the roses & leaves from the set onto watercolour paper panel using Altenew dye inks:
3 of larger red roses: Ruby Red & Dark Chocolate (darker shade)
2 of brighter red roses: Crimson & Velvet (darker shade)
Leaves: Forest Glades & Evergreen (darker shade)
Once the stamped panel was dry, I lightly coloured the roses with Tattered Rose Distress ink, the leaves with Twisted Citron Distress ink. I then coloured around the roses with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and a wet paint brush. I added red ink splatters over the panel. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the To You With Love set on the bottom part of the panel in VersaFine Onyx Black, and then heat embossed it in clear. Finally, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape, and then added clear droplets over the roses using Glossy Accents.YoonsunHur-20160812-CBesotted-003YoonsunHur-20160812-CBesotted-002Thank you so much for stopping by. Pretty Pink Posh August Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh August Product Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from amazingly talented Joni Andaya.
PPP-August-Bloghop-BannerToday I want to share my cards with the adorable new stamp sets along with other new Pretty Pink Posh goodies. PPP sequins always enhance my projects and the August release is no exception!!

YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-A001For my first card, I used the new Camping Friends Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies. For the starry night background, I white heat embossed the moon and tiny stars from the set onto watercolour paper panel, then ink blended on it with Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans, and Seedless Preserves Distress inks using mini ink blending tool. I then added Perfect Pearls Mist and opaque white ink splatters. For the ground, I ink blended with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress inks. Next, I stamped the images from the set on a separate watercolour paper in VersaFine Onyx Black, watercoloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. Once the panel was completely dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using foam tape. I embellished with a few 3mm PPP clear sequins.
YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-A002Camping under the stars, that’s a very exciting thing to think about!!

YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-B001For my second card, I used the new Blissful Butterflies Stamp Set & Stitched Hexagons Dies. I love to create something beautiful and LOVE butterflies!! First, I randomly stamped the butterflies from the Blissful Butterflies set on watercolour paper panel using VersaMark Embossing ink, heat embossed them in white. I then watercoloured over the heat embossed images with Peerless watercolors and a wet flat brush. I added white ink splatters. Next, I die cut the Stitched Hexagon from heavy white card stock, stamped the sentiment on it in black ink. I stamped the butterflies on a separate white card stock in black, then fussy cut them. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using foam tape. I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-B002
YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-C001For my last card, I used the new Fox Friends Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies – Those foxes are so darling!! I simply stamped all three foxes from the set on watercolour paper in VersaFine Onyx Black, coloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I stacked up foxes (as shown in the picture) using foam tape, and then added black sentiment, I used the Camping Friends stamp set, banner over them.
YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-C002To finish it off, I embellished with a few Pewter Sequins (4mm, 6mm).
YoonsunHur-20160811-PPP-C003Your next stop on the hop is super talented Debby Hughes. We hope to inspire you with some beautiful cards as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!
