SSS Flower Cone

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!
Today I want to share with you my fun “Flower Cone” card with the Simon Says Stamp Sketch RanunculusWild Beauty stamp sets I designed – Spring is now ending and summer is coming already. Meaning that the season of ice cream is coming soon :D
YoonsunHur-20160522-SSS001To create this card, I stamped the flowers and leaves from Sketch RanunculusWild Beauty sets on watercolour paper panel using Distress inks, then brushed – just like rubbing – them using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush. I then stamped them on the same place with the same colours of Distress ink once again – I used Festive Berries, Wild HoneyPicked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers Distress inks.
YoonsunHur-20160522-SSS002Next, I stamped the cone from Cone Building set on the panel using Rusty Hinge & Gathered Twigs Distress inks. I then roughly coloured the background with Tattered Rose Distress ink – It’s my favourite pink!! Once dry, I mounted the panel along with the sentiment banner on top-folded white card base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-A001For my first card, I made (a kind of) CAS card with the Watercolor Wonders set. I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp the layered flowers on white paper panel using several colours of Altenew dye ink:
Flowers: Coral Berry to Ruby Red, Grapevine and Warm Sunshine to accent
Leaves: Forest Glades to Evergreen
I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Day set on it with the Altenew Jet Black dye ink.
YoonsunHur-20160522-Altenew-A002I mounted the panel on A2 kraft card base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
I’m popping in to show you my Father’s Day card with so adorable SSS Cuddly Critters stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160519-SSS001To create this card, I stamped the critters from Cuddly Critters set on watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black, coloured them with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel, then die cut them with the matching dies. Next, I die cut the star patterned panel from the Bazzill Kraft Foil Gold Paper using SSS Stitches Rectangles die, decorated on it with black dot washi tape & twine.
YoonsunHur-20160519-SSS002For the sentiment, I used the SSS Game Tile Letters stamp set. With this set, we can make our own sentiment whenever we want!! I stamped the “LOVE U DAD” letters on white card stock in black ink, then fussy cut them. Finally, I mounted all elements as shown to top-folded SSS Khaki card base using dimensional foam tape.
