Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew November 2017 Release Blog Hop!! We have 14 brand new stamp sets, 8 new die sets in November! If you arrived here from Sandra Dietrich’s blog you are on the right track!
For my first card, I am featuring the new Golden Feather stamp set along with other Altenew products.
I started by heat embossing one of feathers from the Golden Feather set on the centre of the watercolour paper panel in white. I heat embossed tiny dots from the Happy Dreams set around the stamped feather in white as well. I coloured the stamped panel with some Distress inks.
Once the panel was completely dry, I die cut the word “hugs” using the Script Words die set, and then inlaid it using fine tip glue pen.
For my second card, I used the Story of Us stamp set. I stamped the layered flowers & leaves on watercolour panel with some dye inks:
Blue flowers: (light to dark) Turquoise, Tide Blue, Starlight
Purple flowers: Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Starlight
Leaves: Parrot, Forest Glades
I then coloured the rest areas with Distress inks.
For my last card, I used the Story of Us stamp set and the Creative Edges: Notebook die. This notebook edge die is my most favourite among new products!
