Altenew March 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew March 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Anna Komenda’s blog you are on the right track!
For my cards today, I am featuring so beautiful Sweet Rose Bouquet and Wildflower Garden stamp sets. Oh, I love these two flower sets so much!!
For my first card, I tried to make a simple yet vintage floral wedding card using the Sweet Rose Bouquet stamp set. I stamped layered roses & leaves on the centre of watercolour paper panel using several dye inks:
Rose petals: (light to dark) Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Midnight Violet
Leaves: Forest Glades, Evergreen
I then die cut the letter “W” from the stamped panel using the Caps Bold Alphabet die set.
I mounted the stamped panel on kraft card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the letter “W” in the exact place using foam tape. I lightly coloured the letter “W” using Antique Linen Distress ink, then added red ink splatters around the stamped rose bouquet.

Here is another floral card with the Sweet Rose Bouquet stamp set – It’s my most favourite set among the entire March release products. I stamped them on white paper panel using dye inks:
Rose petals: (light to dark) Ocean Waves, Dusk, Desert Night
(and) Turquoise, Tide Blue, Starlight
Leaves: Limestone, Silver Stone, Industrial Diamond
(and) Forest Glades
I then stamped the sentiment from the Wildflower Garden set on the left part of the stamped panel in pigment black ink, added water droplets using Glossy Accents.

My last card today, I created a (kind of) CAS card with the Wildflower Garden stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on the centre of watercolour paper panel first, and then stamped the flowers & leaves using several dye inks.

Spellbinders: Lacey Borders

Hello crafty friends! I’m just popping in to share with you today my watercolour card using so beautiful Spellbinders Lacey Borders die set.

Here is what I came up with:

I started by die cutting Floral Lacey Borders from watercolour paper 4 times using the Lacey Borders die set. I then adhered them on watercolour paper panel shown as picture using fine tip glue pen. Next, I inked the main panel with several Distress inks: (from top) Scattered Straw, Tattered Rose, Crushed Olive, and Peacock Feathers. I then lightly brushed over the inked panel with clean water. Once the panel was completely dry, I added opaque white ink splatters all over the panel using Altenew Pure White ink spray.
I decorated the main panel with white linen ribbon & paper flowers, and then mounted the panel on top-folded white card base using double-sided tape. For the little bird, I used the Spellbinders So Tweet die set.

PPP March Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Welcome to the second day of the Pretty Pink Posh March 2018 Product Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Alix Davis’s blog you are on the right track.

To create the card, I stamped flowers & leaves (from the Cherry Blossoms stamp set) and the sentiment (from the Encouraging Greetings stamp set) on watercolour paper panel in black pigment ink. I then lightly coloured the stamped images with watercolours and a wet paint brush. I added red ink splatters.
For the sparkly rainbow, I stamped it from the Best of Luck set on white card stock using Memento Desert Sand dye ink, die cut it with the coordinating die. Once the watercoloured panel was completely dry, I mounted the panel on top-folded kraft card base using double-sided tape, adhered the stamped rainbow die cut above the sentiment, and then added Jewels on it using fine tip glue pen.
I love these new sparkly Jewels so much!!

For my second card, I created a messy watercoloured flower card with the Cherry Blossoms stamp set. I stamped flowers and leaves on watercolour panel using Antique Linen Distress ink first, and then coloured them with Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, and a bit of Wild Honey Distress inks. Next, I brushed over the coloured images with clean water – Distress inks react with water!
Once the floral panel was completely dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape, and then added details of the images using 0.05mm Copid multiliner, white ink splatters.

For my last card, I am featuring the Cherry Blossoms set and the Stacked Edges 2 die. I die cut 4 diamond stripes from watercolour paper using the Stacked Edges 2 die first, and then inked stripes with Distress inks and round ink blending tool.
For a cluster of flowers, I stamped & watercoloured them, then die cut them with the Cherry Blossoms coordinating dies. I added Jewels for finishing touches.

GIVEAWAY!!
There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 3/12/2018. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

Altenew: Forever and Always

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I have three floral cards to share with you using so beautiful Altenew Forever and Always stamp set.

Doesn’t it look like a real rose? Oh, these two rose bouquets are so beautiful!

For my first card with the Forever and Always set, I created a watercolour card. I stamped the rose bouquet on a watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink, watercoloured it, and then die cut it with the matching die.
I ink blended on a rectangle watercolour paper panel with Tattered Rose Distress ink, and then stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the panel in black. I die cut from the sentiment panel using the same die, then inlaid the watercoloured rose die cut. Finally, I mounted it on a top-folded kraft card base using double-sided tape.

For my second card, I used the Altenew Artist Markers for flower colouring. I stamped the roses from the Forever and Always set on kraft cardstock using Altenew Mocha dye ink, coloured them with the Artist Markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it onto dark brown cardstock with white embossing powder, and then fussy cut it.

For my last card today, I used polychromos coloured pencils for flower colouring. I heat embossed the rose bouquet on kraft cardstock with white embossing powder first, coloured it with polychromos coloured pencils, and then die cut it using the matching die.
For the card base, I die cut 4 laces from kraft cardstock using the Altenew Creative Edges: Lace die, and then adhered them on the same kraft card base using fine tip glue pen. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the card in black and then added the rose bouquet on the centre of the card front using foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
