MFT July Release – New Product Launch

Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! FINALLY!! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Boutique now! I can’t wait to see what you guys create with them :D

My cards showcase Piece of Cake Stamp Set and Star Celebration Background.
YoonsunHur-MFT-20150707-NPL01For my first card, I used Piece of Cake Stamp Set. This set has many humorous birthday sentiments :D I randomly stamped cakes, candles using hybrid inks, trimmed the stamped panel using Blueprints 25 Die-namics. I then stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice hybrid ink, added some clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-MFT-20150703-Day5-03For the big blue balloon, 1)I stamped Star Celebration Background Stamp onto the white card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. Who could resist this darling balloon? ;)

MFT July Release Countdown – Day 1

Welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown!!

For my first and second cards I used Party Patterns Stamp Set, Brushstroke Birthday Stamp Set. These two stamp sets could be a great combo and are definitely in my stash of faves!!

I just stamped them here and there onto the Primitive White card stock with hybrid inks and then stamped sentiment from the Brushstroke Birthday Stamp Set with Black Licorice hybrid ink. It is so easy to make!!

I used Persimmon, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Cotton Candy, Banana Split, and Razzle Berry hybrid inks for my first card and Lush Lagoon, Berrylicious, Grout Gray, Summer Splash, Sour Apple, Spearmint, and Tropical Teal hybrid inks for the second card.

YoonsunHur-MFT-20150707-Day1-03For my last card, I used Things with Wings Stamp Set. 1)First of all, I randomly stamped them onto the watercolour panel with black pigment ink, coloured them with MFT dye inks using waterbrush. 2)I die cut Pierced Circle Frame at the bottom side of the watercoloured panel just for fun :D

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things July Release Countdown Day 2.

Today I am sharing with you my card using Brushstroke Birthday Stamp set. YoonsunHur-MFT-20150706-Day2-01To create the card, 1)I stamped the sentiments on the white card stock with embossing ink, gold heat embossed. 2)I inked on the white card stock with Wild Cherry dye ink using mini blending tool, die cut balloon using Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 3)I die cut tiny butterflies from several little bits of colour card stock using Hip Clips Die-namics, sentiment from the white paper using Brushstroke Birthday Greetings Die-namics. 4)I mounted all elements as shown to the stamped panel.

MFT July Release Countdown – Day 3

Have you ever seen a person dressed up as a clown, handing out balloons to children at parks? I can still remember the moment I first received a balloon. Oh, how exciting it was!!YoonsunHur-MFT-20150705-Day3-01To create the card, I used Clowning Around Stamp set, Balloon Strings Background Stamp, and Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 1)I stamped the clown on the white card stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Copic markers and then die cut it with matching die. 2)I coloured each piece of watercolour paper with Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Lush Lagoon, Grape Jelly dye inks using a wet paintbrush and then die cut balloons using Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 3)For the background, I stamped Balloon Strings Background Stamp on the white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 4)For the sentiment, I stamped ‘celebrate’ from the Brushstroke Birthday Stamp set with Black Licorice hybrid ink, fussy cut it. 5)To finish it off, I mounted all elements as shown to the stamped panel and added some clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-MFT-20150705-Day3-03We can make cute bows, stitched clips with a new Creative Clips Die-namics. I just simply love it!!

To create the card, 1)I stamped Roses All Over Background Stamp on the white card stock using Grout Gray dye ink, die cut it with Cross-Stitch Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 2)I die cut the bow set from several pieces of colour card stock using Creative Clips Die-namics and then made bows. 3)For the sentiment, I used it from Birthday Bears Stamp set. 4)To finish it off, I mounted all elements as shown to the white card base, added some clear sequins.

MFT July Release Countdown – Day 4

Today, I want to share with you my cards using super sweet Birdie Brown Birthday Bears Stamp set.
YoonsunHur-MFT-20150704-Day4-01To create the card, 1)I stamped and coloured bears onto the watercolour paper with Chocolate Brown dye ink. 2)I stamped Star Celebration Background Stamp on the white card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed and then inked the stamped panel with Wild Cherry dye ink using mini blending tool. I then die cut it using Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 3)I mounted all elements as shown to the white card stock.

YoonsunHur-MFT-20150704-Day4-02For my second card, I made my own watercolour background. 1)I stamped bears, balloons, cone hats, sentiments from Birthday Bears Stamp set onto the watercolour panel using several different colours of dye inks, coloured them with dye ink as well (Bear: Chocolate Brown / Red balloons: Wild Cherry, Red Hot / Yellow balloons: Lemon Drop / Cone hats: Sour Apple, Lush Lagoon). I then coloured the rest areas with Grout Gray dye ink. 2)For my shaker panel, I made the circle window using Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows Die-namics and then added mixed sequins. 3)For the ‘birthday’ word, I used it from Brushstroke Birthday Greetings Die-namics.
