My today’s card with the kit:YoonsunHur-MFT-April-CardKit-001To create this card, I simply die cut the baby elephants from white card stock using Jungle Friends Die-namics, ears from Fun & Frolic patterned paper, and then mounted them on the Pineapple card base using dimensional foam tape. Easy peasy, right?!

Today I want to share with you the Out of the Box cards. Meaning that I used some other MFT goodies along with the kit products.
YoonsunHur-MFT-April-CardKit-OutofBox-001When I saw the adorable elephant family dies, the baby card came to my mind. My first card is a baby girl card. I stamped the beautiful flowers from Modern Blooms and Fall Florals sets behind the elephant die cuts using several colours of hybrid ink: Cotton Candy, Razzle Berry, Pineapple, Grape Jelly, Latte, Summer Splash, and Blue Yonder hybrid inks.

I used Summer Splash, Blue Yonder, Lush Lagoon, Green-Eyed Monster, Gravel Gray, Sour Apple, Limeade, Grape Jelly, and Pineapple hybrid inks.

In April, you can make an interactive card with the Surf & Turf Die-namics and the Spin & Slide Discs!!
YoonsunHur-MFT-April-CardKit-InTheBox-B002My first card is a slider card. First I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I then blended the panel with Summer Splash dye ink using mini blending tool, added some pearl white ink splatters. I die cut the swamp from the Fun & Frolic Patterned Paper using the Surf & Turf Die-namics, the crocodile and plants using Jungle Friends Die-namics. Behind the scene, I die cut the slider channel using Surf & Turf Die-namics and then made a moving crocodile. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT WSC 276

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
Today I want to share with you my card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 276.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160413-MFTWSC276-001In spring, we can see many beautiful flowers and butterflies and those beautiful creatures always make me smile! So I created a happy spring card. First off I stamped the flowers from Build-able Bouquet set onto watercolour paper panel using VersaMark Embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then blended the panel with several colours of Distress ink – I used Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Stormy Sky, and Seedless Preserves Distress inks – in rainbow order using mini blending tool and then added a bit of water. After the panel has dried completely, I added cross stitching at both top and bottom edges of the panel using Basic Stitch Lines Die-namics. I stamped the butterfly from Fly-By Friends set on a separate watercolour paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink, simply coloured it with Festive Berries Distress ink, then die cut it with Fly-By Friends Die-namics. For the sentiment, I die cut the curved banner from black card stock using Blueprints 28 Die-namics, then stamped the sentiment on it with embossing ink, white heat embossed. Finally I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my watercolour flower card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 275.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160406-MFTWSC275-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the poppies and leaves from Delicate Pretty Poppies set onto watercolour paper panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 2) Coloured them with Peerless watercolors using waterbrush. 3) Coloured the background with Antique Linen Distress ink using a wet paint brush. 4) Added some black ink splatters. 5) Die cut a separate piece of white card stock using the stitched rectangle die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics, added stitching to the panel using Stitched Strip Die-namics, then die cut the circle at the bottom right hand corner of the stitched panel using Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. 6) Stamped the sentiment from Delicate Pretty Poppies set on black card stock using VersaMark Embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder. 7) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 8) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
