Flora & Fauna: Sending good vibes

Hello crafty friends!
Today I have a watercoloured flower card to share with you using the newly released Flora & Fauna Live Life Wildflowers and Texture Five stamp sets – these two are my favourites among entire new products!!

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Love Bug set on the centre of watercolour paper panel with VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I then stamped solid flowers from the Texture Five set around sentiment area with Festive Berries (red) and Wild Honey (yellow) Distress inks, freely brushed over the stamped flowers with clean water. Distress inks react with water!
Next, I stamped outlined flowers, leaves, and bees from the Live Life Wildflowers set (as shown in the picture) with VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink, lightly coloured them with watercolours. Grey dots are from the Texture Five stamp set.
Once the panel was completely dry, I trimmed the panel out using scallop panel die in the MFT Blueprints 27 Die-namics.

Spellbinders: Lacey Borders

Hello crafty friends! I’m just popping in to share with you today my watercolour card using so beautiful Spellbinders Lacey Borders die set.

Here is what I came up with:

I started by die cutting Floral Lacey Borders from watercolour paper 4 times using the Lacey Borders die set. I then adhered them on watercolour paper panel shown as picture using fine tip glue pen. Next, I inked the main panel with several Distress inks: (from top) Scattered Straw, Tattered Rose, Crushed Olive, and Peacock Feathers. I then lightly brushed over the inked panel with clean water. Once the panel was completely dry, I added opaque white ink splatters all over the panel using Altenew Pure White ink spray.
I decorated the main panel with white linen ribbon & paper flowers, and then mounted the panel on top-folded white card base using double-sided tape. For the little bird, I used the Spellbinders So Tweet die set.

Spellbinders: Lord is My Strength

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
Today I want to share with you my colorful (and cheerful) watercolour card with some Spellbinders Joanne Fink Bible Journaling collection products.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Take Delight set on the centre of the watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Smokey Grey pigment ink. I then randomly stamped flowers, butterflies, birds, treble clef around the edges of the panel using the same gray pigment ink. I stamped the sentiment & flowers on a separate watercolour paper in grey for adding dimensions to my card later.
I brushed over the stamped images with clean water first, and then coloured them with watercolours just the way I like! I also coloured another stamped flowers (from the Inspiring Others stamp set) with watercolours, and then fussy cut them out.
Once the panel was completely dry, I decorated the panel with lacy ribbon & small flowers as shown to the picture, and then mounted the panel on white card base using double-sided tape. Finally I added the sentiment panel & flowers using foam tape. :)

Spellbinders: Live By Inspiring Others

Hello crafty friends!
I am so thrilled to be the guest designer for Spellbinders this month. In February, I will be sharing greeting cards using so beautiful Bible Journaling collection by Joanne Fink – It is SO inspiring!
For today’s card, I’m featuring the Inspiring Others Stamp Set along with other Spellbinders dies.

Here is what I came up with:

Here are step-by-step photos:
1) Die-cut Geo Flower die from the Kaleidoscope collection from pale grey card stock.2) Make own adhesive panel using double-sided tape. Overlap the tapes carefully so there are no gaps.
3) Adhere Geo Flower die cut on adhesive panel. Trim outside of the die cut out using a scissors.
4) Apply glitters onto the sticky part of the die cut panel. Rub glitter with fingers to set in place.
5) Stamp butterflies from the Inspiring Others set onto watercolour paper using black pigment ink, and then watercolour them. Allow to dry completely. Fussy cut them out.
6) Die-cut 4 laces from pale grey card stock using one of the beautiful lace borders in the Small Die of the February Kit.

Lastly, I stamped sentiment from the Inspiring Others set on the same pale grey card stock using black pigment ink, and then trimmed it out using the Geo Flower die set – I just used the solid shape.
