MFT February Release – New Product Launch

Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
NewProductLaunchToday I will be sharing with you my watercolour flower card with the Sketched Blooms 2 Stamp Set.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-npl-001I started by stamping beautiful flowers and leaves from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on A2 watercolour paper panel with lots of hybrid inks (all product links are at the end of this post). I then freely watercoloured on the stamped images with Peerless watercolors and a wet paint brush. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Friends Furever set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then trimmed it with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using foam tape.

MFT February Release Countdown – Day 1

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown Day 1. We’ve reached the final day of the countdown and all of the new products will be available at 9 pm ET today in the MFT store.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day1My card today features the Boss Babe Stamp Set. This set contains 13 fun and cheerful sentiments – simply gorgeous!!
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day1-001I started by creating my own patterned background with the Boss Babe stamp set. I repeatedly stamped the sentiment on an A2 sized white paper panel in Gravel Gray hybrid ink, then stamped the same sentiment on the bottom part of the panel in Black Licorice hybrid ink. Next, I stamped two adorable bunnies and instruments from the Strike up the Band set on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the Strike up the Band Die-namics. I mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all images using foam tape.

MFT February Release Countdown – Day 2

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown Day 2.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day2Today I will be sharing with you my wine tag with the Wine Tag Die-namics and Cheers Die-namics.
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day2-001To create the tag, I 1) Die cut the Wine Tag from watercolour paper. 2) Stamped the flowers and leaves from the Fancy Flowers set on the tag using Natural hybrid ink. 3) Coloured the body of the wine tag with Copic markers, the handle of it with Pumice Stone Distress ink. 4) Stamped the sentiment from the Uncorked set in Black Licorice hybrid ink. 5) Die cut the word “Cheers” from the Gold Shine card stock using the Cheers Die-namics, then adhered it on the tag using fine tip glue pen. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

MFT February Release Countdown – Day 3

Welcome to the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3My card today features the Farm Friends Stamp Set and Die-namics along with other MFT products.
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day3-001To start, I made my own inlaid green grass background with the Grassy Hills Die-namics. I blended on watercolour paper panel with Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough Distress inks and mini ink blending tool, added water droplets. Once the panel was dry, I die cut the grass using the Grassy Hills Die-namics, then inlaid them in place. Next, I stamped the Denim Background on white paper panel with Sour Apple, Gumdrop Green, Green-Eyed Monster hybrid inks, and then die cut it with the Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Window & Edge Die-namics.
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day3-002I stamped the cute images from the Farm Friends set on white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Copic markers, and then die cut them with the Farm Friends Die-namics. I mounted the grass background on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements on it using foam tape.

MFT February Release Countdown – Day 4

Welcome to the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I will be sharing with you my cards with the Space Explorer Stamp Set and Sketched Blooms 2 Stamp Set along with other goodies.
yoonsunhur-201702-mftrc-day4-b001I started by stamping all images from the Space Explorer set on watercolour paper panel in pigment black ink – I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool. I then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and water brush. I used Faded Jeans Distress ink for the dark blue background. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and then mounted it on the Primitive White card base using foam tape. Then I added the sentiment banner and a few 3mm clear sequins.

I 1) Die cut a piece of white card stock using stitched rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 2) Stamped flowers from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on the panel using Gravel Gray hybrid ink. 3) Stamped the word “Hugs” from the Lots of Hugs set on the bottom of the panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then heat embossed a coordinating sentiment in white. 4) Stamped some flowers from the Sketched Blooms 2 set on watercolour paper in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolors, and then fussy cut them. 5) Mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements on it using foam tape.
