Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release Blog Hop. I’m so delighted to be a part of this amazing blog hop! If you arrived here from super talented Bibi Cameron’s blog you are on the right track.
Today, I’m featuring the new Painted Flowers & Spring Bouquets Sets. These spring flowers make me so happy!!
For my first card, I used the Painted Flowers Stamp Set along with the CZ Design Swoopy Thank You Die. I die cut the Rounded Corner Rectangle panel from watercolour paper first. I then stamped Painted Flowers & Leaves onto the panel with several SSS dye inks. I coloured the background with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I coloured each stamped image using Copic markers to give a highlighter effect.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Thank you” from Mega Thick White cardstock, the shadow from Fog Gray cardstock using the CZ Design Swoopy Thank You Die.
For my second card, I used the Spring Bouquets Stamp Set. I stamped flower cluster on A2 sized white paper panel using Memento Desert Sand dye ink first, and then coloured it with Copic markers.
Red roses : (from dark to light) R39, R29, R24, R22 and R20.
Yellow bud : YR14, E11, Y15 and Y02.
Leaves : G99, YG06 and G20.
I cut the right side of the floral panel with scissors, dry embossed it with Lumen Embossing Folder, then mounted the panel on Neenah Desert Storm card base.

Beautiful floral designs, fab inspiration for the new release!
Very pretty. Love the colours!
The depth on the loose painted flowers is beautiful!!!! Did you take a deep breath when you embossed your other floral? it turned out beautiful! I recently messed up a beautiful alcohol background by embossing it the wrong way. Uggg. Trying to redeem it! Beautiful cards!
Beautiful cards.
Such cheerful cards. Lovely.
Wow! So beautiful, Yoonsun.

Such beautiful cards!!! I love them!!
The embossing looks wonderful. Cool technique
Yoonsur, I love your cards, both are very unique. I’m amazed at the first one though. It looks completely watercolored to me! I can’t believe the flowers are inked and then copic colored! Amazing! I may try that on my watercolor paper and see if I can get the same look! It’s just so WOW to me I can’t get over it!
Gorgeous!!!! Just stunning!!!
Beautiful cards! Awesome colors…

Beautiful cards and dimensions using an embossing folder.

Hello Yoonsun. Love how you added texture to the florals. Lovely job as always.

I really like the embossing and cutting on the one card. I’m going to have to try that.
These are beautiful! Especially love the second one, what a cool look using that embossing folder!
Very beautiful and elegant cards. The second card looks just amazing! Thanks for sharing!
I love the playful painted flowers card with rounded corners. Your Spring Bouquet card is so wonderful. The use of the embossing folder, the edge stamping and cut out, the beautiful coloring all make for a lovely result.
Gorgeous cards — so unique!
I like what you have done with the painted flowers. I was wondering how they were so bright on grey cardstock lol. The end look is really nice.
Your cards are beautiful! Love the idea of embossing on top of the colored image! Brilliant!
Gorgeous cards! Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful cards! I really love how you trimmed the one side of the floral design and then embossed the whole panel with the new folder.

Gorgeous cards!!! I love the look of the dry embossing over the flowers!!!
I kinda moved on with this folder at first glance, but until I saw this card. Wow, that texture is beautiful! Especially with the way the die cuts out so perfectly the spring bloom! Beautiful!
