Hello crafty friends!
Today is the first day of December, oh, I can’t believe it’s already the last month of 2020, which means we can meet the Simon Says Stamp DieCember! YAY!!
For my cards today, I’m featuring the Detailed Rose die set – I loooooove it.
For my first card, I collected the patterned papers that were left here and there. I don’t know why but as soon as I saw this rose die, I thought of patchwork. I die cut the Detailed Rose from thick white cardstock & several patterned papers first. I then assembled all pieces using fine tip glue pen. I also die cut the detailed leaves from green cardstocks.
For the background, I die cut stripes from patterned papers using the Strips 1 & the Strips 2 die sets, then adhered them as shown in the picture on white card base using double-sided tape.
Doesn’t this tiny butterfly make the rose look more beautiful?!!
For my second “Thanks” card, I just used detailed leaf die in the Detailed Rose die set. I applied several Distress inks behind the Thanks sentiment panel in rainbow order – I used Festive Berries, Fossilized Amber, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon and Seedless Preserves.
I die cut detailed leaves (in the Detailed Rose set) & solid leaves (in the Christmas Foliage set) from thick white cardstock, then decorated the Thanks sentiment panel with them.
I will share more of my DieCember cards on Thursday. Please look forward to the 2 days DieCember 2020 blog hop starting tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
