Happy, happy Saturday, crafty friends!
I’m so excited to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp Blossoms & Butterflies Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Amanda Korotkova’s blog you are on the right track!

My cards today, I am featuring so lovely Bouquet of Roses Stencil – it is definitely one of my favourites among entire new release! With this beautiful stencil, I made messy watercoloured flower cards.

I positioned the Bouquet of Roses Stencil over the Wonky Stitched watercolour paper panel in place first, and then traced flowers & leaves with a pencil. I then coloured all flowers & leaves with STAEDTLER Aqua Pencils – these watercolour pencils are good-value-for-money! :D
Next, I brushed all pencil coloured images with a fine tip paint brush. To be honest, I really liked it BUT, I didn’t change my mind to make messy watercoloured flowers, haha!
Ta-da! I freely brushed over the images with a wet paint brush! I LOVE IT!!
For the sentiment, I used the Comfort and Prayers Stamp Set.

Here is one more messy watercoloured floral card with the Bouquet of Roses Stencil. I used the same technique but different colour combo.
I coloured flowers & leaves with watercolour pencils first, and then brushed pencil coloured images with a wet paint brush.

Such a fun clever idea for this stencil Yoonsun! I hadn’t thought about those techniques. All your cards are beautiful, but it fascinating to see the extra dimension given by the wet brush over the pencils! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful inspiration!
